Because the homebetatrrial.com site looks the same... Did you have to like register your PS3 on Sonys site or do you get a PM on your PSN account or wat???????

It was a random email sent out by Sony. In the email it had a link that you used to sign up for Beta.  It was totally random picks on who got this email. And even though we few got this email, still dosnt mean we got into Beta.

No it doesn't have to be, but you should register it, it doesn't hurt to do so

However Home Beta probably didn't have much effect to this, so just don't register it for a spot in Home.
