Now I could have sworn Sony told us when they moved the weekly Home update from Thursday to Wednesday that this was so they could then do maintenance on a Thursday which would mean less down time for Home (this seemed ridiculous then as it seemed to me the same amount of downtime but spread over 2 days).

The fact is maintenance is any day you please and I'll bet my last buck come Sunday we're still beset with all the server problems etc etc etc that we're currently suffering (and have been for a MONTH).

Why not just take it down for good and dont bring it back until it works for goodness sakes

Its not just Home this maintenence is affecting. The following games online won't be accessible either during that time frame:

You are correct, sir! I'm not really sure why the big doubt that everyone is experiencing when it comes to this maintenance... This'll be the first time HOME has been actually shut down JUST to perform maintenance in a while.

sony loses when they close it during the weekend, but if it has to be done, I am for it, and I should be asleep at that time anyway,lol

~ um...the maintaince is ONLY 4 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!

GO PLAY games on your ps3 like u suspose to do... plus its from 4am-8am.  if ur a night owl that stays up that early.. play some video games on xbox,wii,vita,watever!..  i kno u ppl got video games for ps3..if u dont....WOW!!! if ur not a night owl. go to sleeep and wait till the morning and play.
