Re: Home on PS4.

ATTENTION: According to the Sony official forums, PS Home will most likely NOT return for the PS4 due to the fact that Sony is trying to find room for thier server. Something that Home takes up ALOT of. To Sony, PSHOME is just extra room. Sorry...

Re: Home on PS4.

Wonder how many people if thats true will not get ps4 then. No PSHome could shatter some users. I would be a tad bored if i bought ps4 and it didnt have home, Friends wouldn't be able to gather virtually with characters and chat.

:^/ Chris, this is one of Sony's official forums, the one specifically for Home, and no such announcement has been made here. Do you have a link to the announcement to which you refer? Thanks.

As for Home on PS4, it'd have to be backwards compatible to Home on PS3, so don't look for anything that needs more RAM, faster graphics processing, etc....

Re: Home on PS4.

I don't see any reason why Home wouldn't carry over. Besides, if Home did die, it wouldn't be just us who lose out. What about the devs that make their living off Home, like (presently) Granzella?

They go out of business.

or

They learn to adapt to change and work on more than one project at once. (Loot & Forsaken Planet, for example)

Re: Home on PS4.

Just because Home doesn't make it to the PS4, it will never go out of business. They may or may not learn. I see Home not being on the PS4.

Sony PS3 will never go out business because Home doesn't make it on the PS4 hahahaha.

My PS4, I wouldn't want it on there. Takes up too much rooooooom.

Re: Home on PS4.

If Home didn't continue on the PS4, it would more than likely become a PS3 exclusive. Sony hardware carries over for a VERY long time, they are just now discontinuing production of the PS2 and that came out like what, 12 years ago? Home will be around for at least another 5+ years at least on PS3.

Re: Home on PS4.

To also add, the PS3 is powerful enough to out last the PS2 as a enertainment system minus any games. So the PS3 will be around for awhile.
