lol right, thats why if they do something like this then they would have to set in a feature in the PDA settings that would let users recieve these requests from anyone or just their friends., if set to friends only then you would only recive requests for hugs, kisses and such from those on your list.

HELL NO! This would create so many problems for people. Keep the PDA private. Go get Back to the Future game and you will receive a demerit for PDA. This would make HOME 10X worse with just random hugs and kisses.

Home is bad enough with trolls running rampid. so I say it wouldn't matter if they add these kinds of actions or not. But like I said if they did add them then they would have to add a feature in the settings that would allow users to choose weither to recieve action requests from everyone, friends only, or no one. Maybe even a customize list if you only want to recieve action requests from certain people.

It would be nice to be able to have interaction, but I do think its imperative that we have the ability, as you've mentioned, to choose who to receive them from.
It was bad enough having to deal with all the random friend requests (the update that allowed us security against this was a godsend) but I think without this ability we could likely get overwhelmed with spam requests from people we dont know, and personally I would not like it unless I could switch them off.
As far as interacting is concerned, havent Granzella already paved the way a little for this?
Didn't they have a way in their Neon space in Japan where two avatars were able to walk beside each other under an umbrella in the rain. I dont know how that was implemented, but I remember seeing videos of it, and it only need to adjust that to whatever it is they want to expand on the interaction. It may not be as far away as you may think.

So this is just me but, i think sony should add handshakes and hugs and etc.... to Home. It'd be kinda nice to give hugs and high fives to random people.
Isn't the purpose of giving hugs, hi-fives, kisses, etc. to show some form of friendship, acquaintanceship, or affection? Hugging and kissing, as you said, random people cheapens the act and is only subject to abuse and trolling, even with the invite-to-interaction.

It has enough interactions already, you can blow a kiss to someone or to your loved one. That should be enough, its Home! They won't add the words Your Welcome or Welcome into the commands.

Sorry but that blow a kiss action sucks. as do others on the actions we have on the R1 List. now they were good for a while, but really the community wanted more dance moves that didn't involve having to put on a full-body costume, first they came up with the ska or as I like to call "The Fruity Running Man" then N-Dreams recently came out with the Street Moves dance move, which those alone suck cause those dance moves only last a minute or two, it doesn't let you stay dancing like the ska or those other dances.

I expect better from the Hone development team, Home will be open beta 4 years next month and as far as I can tell the only ones that have been doing a decent job are Lockwood, Granzella, HeavyWater, Loot, Konami, NDreams, and other developers like them. the main Home development team, I have to say I am not impressed with them.
