Hey!

Every space has an invisible barrier to prevent placing items out of bounds. It's safe to assume that where you can not place items, you won't be able to fly with the helicopter. So, small estates won't offer much flying room but bigger estates will. If you wish, feel free to add me and stop by one of my estates and try it out for yourself.

Had fun flying around in your estate with the Heli.

the same personal space with the HS helicopter for me.

I removed the active items and the helicopter worked.

I am not going to risk my PS3s hard drive

testing other active items.

Active items should  be able to exist together

without freezing your PS3!

I hope Sony/Developers look into this soon.

That actually happened to me with the Essence of the Seven Winds item. If there was already 2 or more active items in my space, I would freeze when I placed it.

I have the essence in spaces with multiple active items.  However, if I try and place two essence items in the same space then it freezes my PS3.  Perhaps the helipad is coded similiarly to the essence and thus that's why they are causing the freezes when one attempts to place them in the same space.

Thank you for your post.

It's a nice item, only it makes Home freeze completely when you try to place another active item. It shudders too most of the time when it flies. Maybe it needs a little more work. I do wish that it could also be used in Public spaces.
