I want to place it where my guests spawn in my private spaces and have them walk forward on a carpet of leaves.

We know now that Home will be gone by next April. I intend to enjoy it as long as it's around. I hope you do, too.

I think Game Mechanics are peeking into my Avatar's dreams! They are giving us more ways to put messages in our apartments with their new customizable signs, and a race timer gate AND a magical leaf rug!  WOW!  This is the kind of creative thinking that I have been looking for!

Does placing both start and finish use double the slots?

Not sure on price

3 slots

Yes, but you only need to place the one.  It starts a timer when you go through and stops the timer once you go back through it.

Game Mechanics has so far for me been one of the best new companys on home. Would be intresting to see them make an apartment, with a Hot Rod / 60's muscle car theme.

The Start/Finish Gate uses 3 slots and is 2.99.

 

It is one gate. It is good for looping tracks.

The gates are awesome. My only complaint is that they don't show the tenths of a second.
