This is the town where I'm from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shediac

the town seal has a lobster                                         logo_villedeshediac.png

our coat of arms has one                            lobster 03.jpg

it is officially known as "The Lobster Capital of the World" ... the summer festival is the "Lobster Festival" and the festival mascot looks like Y2David when he's running around in his costume lol

Oh, and upon entering the town, you see this ... lobster 01.jpg

Had to leave early but here's some picks from the party.

We started to get hungry at some point so JulainMatisse hopped on the barbecue.

Not sure that was fully cooked because I found him and a few others laying on the ground later on. There was also a small zombie outbreak at some point but I borrowed his flame thrower and took care of it, lol.

Tonight's celebration was a lot of fun, it was amazing how many showed up and how long things carried on for, thank you very much for participating everyone.

(Of course nothing is complete with out a few pictures.) :catwink:

The event going strong.

We then decided to entrust JulianMatisse to prepare the meals for the event, but for him the barbecue just wasn't enough.

Shortly after the meal though many users began collapsing and medical attention was at many points required. :cattongue:

All in all though, things were a lot of fun.

I wasn't there for too long, but it was great to hang out for a bit, have some good laughs and see a lot of old friends and familiar names. Thanks for the fun and Happy 4th to everyone.

btw, where is this little monkey from? That's hilarious.
