Re: Diamond Beach Yacht Club and Marina discussion

It's another instance, like Serenity Plaza was...before it was officially released. It's there...it's just not on the navigator yet. The only way to get there, as of right now...is by joining a friend who is already there.

Alternately, if you have already bought the Diamond Mansion space (yes, there are people who have found a way to buy the Diamond Mansion BEFORE it's official release) you can take a boat ride from the Diamond Mansion, to the Yacht and Marina club.

Yes, they are.  And to avoid confusion, since it was mentione din this thread, the MVP program at SCEE and the MVP program at SCEA are two entirely different animals all together.

More on the MVP portion of this in a couple of hours.

Re: Diamond Beach Yacht Club and Marina discussion

Jul 20, 2013

I managed to get to the Yacht club and Marina tonight for the first time and I can honestly say that I was surprised at just how good this space actually is.  I never thought much of the personal space, and I probably won't be buying it but I can actually see myself spending a lot of time in the Marina.

The views are spectacular, it's a massive space with lots to see and lots to take in. I took some pictures while I was there:

You can actually lie down in the cabana^

Last but not these and my favorite part of all is that you can actually swim in the Marina.

This space can be saved to favorites and it let me in without owning the space, but I assume that it works similar to X7 with the PS+ requirement.

It can be saved to favorites though, which is what I have done if anyone needs an invite ^^

But.. Do you like to wakeboard?! :smileytongue:

I like to watch other people wakeboard. The wipeouts always give me a chuckle, you know... once I'm sure they're not seriously injured. :smileytongue:

Speaking of the wakeboard splash minigame has anyone got rewards from it? My highest score was somewhere above 7k and nothing so far :smileysad:

I haven't gotten any, but your high score is waaaay higher than mine, Smoking. If there aren't rewards, I probably won't be playing it again. That's a lot of work for no reward. Figuratively and literally. :smileytongue:

Some people get upset when people who have bought clothes " make fun" of  people that have only free clothes, yet "Exclusive" places still get built.

Re: Diamond Beach Yacht Club and Marina discussion

Jul 28, 2013

Today Vickie and I went to the Marina Yacht Club. It looked very nice. Actually, I like this space and I wish that it could be purchased as a personal space or clubhouse. Although this space is exclusive for x7 members.

One thing I don' t like about the yacht club is that it's full of people who feel they can be rude just because they can afford a PSN card to buy a mansion space, Playstation Plus, or whatever. We met a guy who sent private messages to vickie to flirt with her, but didn't talk to me at all. Vickie doesn't want to visit buildlings at the yacht club anymore, and that's disappointing.

Anyway, we found a quiet space under the water to hide from them.
