Anyone else think its stupid Home doesn't back date?

24 replies 30 views Edited Apr 10, 2007
So after seeing home and thinking it's pretty cool. I say, hay, maybe I will start playing some mutiplat games on the PS3, that way when home comes out I will have some trophies.

Then they tell us that going foward beyond home most games will include it.

I think that is a mistake

Because why would they include PS2 stuff in a PS3 feature?

There is a thread already, where you can voice you opinion about Home:smileywink::smileyvery-happy:. Now as for your thoughts, I really don't understand as Home will have majority of the PS3 games in support,  in the Trophy department, and yes its worth it, especially sense its free, I would ask you to make your statement a little more clear, so that I can see what you are getting at. Please post in the link below, thanks

EDIT: I get what you are saying, but the thing is that the game is fun and we have it to enjoy at any time, so Home doesn't neccessarily have to support the games now as there are more of them to come in the future worthy of having tropies. Beside who knows we might have see some games get a makeover, like Sonic has undergone, with the possibility of Home support being added, we just have to wait and see, but I can understand what you are saying but there is surely enough to make it better for us overall

a gametrailers vid from the post  home announcement party. there was this guy they were interviewing from sony, i forget his name but he was semi affimanant (sp), but he said they had been working on home for a lonmg time, that users will create more levels in games, i.e. little bg planet, and then he said that home achievements will be progressive, but, heres the biggie, developers can use the firmware updates to get new achievements from pre home ps3 titles

Um..if you payed any attention to the videos of Home, you would have noticed that by owning RFOM, you can have RFOM wall papers for your appartment, and in the trophy room, you might have noticed a Motorstorm trophy..meaning, yes, it will back date.
