Hey Home Community,
Thanks to everyone's input that I requested while tracking and tackling this particularly unusual error, we have a fix for how to take care of it in the meantime until the next build of Home.
A little info on it:
It is caused due to a cache that simply needs to be cleared and refreshed.
The good news:
To do this, simply delete Home and download a fresh copy. No need to delete the Home-specific Save Data files. Your avatar and decorated personal spaces will remain intact after the new copy of Home is installed.
On the XMB, go to the blue PlayStation Network icon > Home > hit Triangle > Delete
Once it completes deletion, go to the blue Home icon and hit X to download and install a fresh copy.
I also want to give a little shout out of thanks to our resident and amazing MercuryValentine for her diligence through this.
I was just downloading the Active item Star Dome in the Conspiracy room and for the first time, got the error in the middle of the download.
Now its the X80710092 error..
All is working fine now and the star dome came across ok.
If the mentioned fix does not do it, for users who can 100% reproduce the error code, we request the following to track individual cases:
* PSN Online ID
* The IP address of the public DNS server that is not working for them (this may be the DNS server provided by their broadband provider and they may need to look on their broadband router for this setting - IP addresses beginning 192, 10 and 172 are not public)
* The IP address of the public DNS server that *is* working for them (if any)
