I dabbled around in Home for a few months and not too interested in it so I want to remove it. I know when you install it reserves 3GB for Home content so is there a way to delete this content from my PS3? All I see is a 16KB file in Game Data Utility and I know that isn't all of it because of all the 25MB+ areas you have to download.
Just use the triangle option on the HOME icon - and uninstall. The Icon will stay there though. If you wish to remove all the other files - do the same thing - just remember that if you do so - and then decide to go back on Home - you will have to recreate your avatar and reset up any/all private spaces (decoratings and such).
Home is in 3 locatoins
1.) Go to the Home icon
2.) Game Data > Playstation Home (may have 2 or more saves here)
3.) Save Data > Playstation Home (Will have a save for your options and all your spaces)
hit triangle, then delete
If you delete the save data you will lose your avatar saves and your layouts for your spaces
Well I can see everyone has answered your problem Kiltron. Thanks for trying out Home though! Home isn't really for everyone. I know my cousin has his deleted as he is not too much of a Home fan. As previously stated, go to the Home icon and hit triangle, then select delete. Also, be sure to check all game saved files as there may be some Home files there you need to delete.
