Hellfire SpeedWings Problem

Okay Hellfire. You said you was gonna fix the animations to your speedwings and those pre-existing customers who already purchased their wings would be updated with "FIXED" animations as well. That was 2 weeks ago! I signed into Home this morning and (no surprise) I see we still have the same rediculous "swimming in air and sliding on skateboard" animations from 2 friggin weeks ago! Youre really making me regret my purchase with these wings. Seriously...if I had known it was gonna be this much of an issue, I wouldve just saved my cash and bought wings from NDreams instead. At least their animations look a LOT better! And THEY got it right on day ONE!

Can we get a spokesman from Hellfire to comment on this, please? After 2 weeks, its time someone speak up and let us know WHEN this update fix is coming.

it's been less than NINE days since that fix was announced. I wish it were otherwise, but console content never updates anywhere near that quickly... you need to join us realists and think more along the lines of 3-6 weeks for an update, with possible delays.

I don't know if you intentionally showing or your way of softening Hellfire's response but it all seems IMHO like laziness.

How long does it take to update users once a business week (like Tuesday before Wedesday update goes live) on anything pending?

We submitted the animation update earlier this month and had our fingers crossed that the new animations would go in today. Unfortunately it looks like we'll need to wait a bit longer. Hang in there... nobody wants this update to go live faster than we do.

Thanks for the update, Novus.

That said, apparently this "hurry up and wait" game is becoming a trend with ALL developers in Home. Weather were talking about Hellfire, NDreams, LKWD or Sony...it's the same all across the board. I had no idea it took so long for a QA team to qualify an outfit, an animation, a furniture item or a personal space for Home. I just naturally assumed that when an update, a bug fix or patch is announced as "coming soon" that it would be within a week or two's time. Now that Im getting used to this trend of QA taking a month or longer to pass inspection on something...I will no longer get my hopes up everytime i hear the phrase "coming soon." I'l just put it out of my mind and if it comes, it comes and if I dont have the money when it comes, i guess thats one less sale that dev will make from me.

It's just frustrating as consumers to hear the Devs blame SONY, then hear SONY blame the Devs, then hear the Devs blame QA everytime theres a problem. I wish things ran a lot smotther...

nDreams wings look awful in my opinion. The idle animation looks like you're quickly bouncing up and down. Looks worse than the swimming in air animation. Also their wings disappear when you pose or dance. nDreams never updates their items either, so Hellfire is the way to go.

But the absolute best locomotion wings belong to Peakvox on the Japanese server. 200 Yen ($2), look great and remain when posing, dancing and sitting.
