We all know this New Item freeze bug has pretty much escalated into an epidemic. I know you guys rarely acknowledge our cries for help with bugs until a fix is just about ready, but that's not what I want to ask for today. The EU Home team said last week that they're hoping the fix will be ready to go live by the end of the month. Whether or not that's true, I'm going to assume that it will happen eventually, because we do have to be able to use Home to spend money in Home.
Some users have found a way around the bug for the time being, but the fact is, there are different forms of the bug, so these workarounds don't work in every case. I have personally experienced this bug TWICE, but luckily I was able to fix it by deleting my Game Data Utility for Home. I have many other friends who got this bug, many of whom were NOT able to fix their accounts the same way, if at all.
All I ask is that you keep the timed-exclusive items available for a short time AFTER the New Item freeze bug is patched. This includes reward items like the E3 swag, but also timed-exclusive store items like the Welcome Back package and the E3 Nebulon-interweave Power Suit. Even though the 100 Welcome Back items aren't rewards, some people still aren't able to access them because they got the New Item freeze bug before those were added to the store. If the 30 days to access these items expire before the freeze is fixed, please consider extending the Welcome Back period as well. For the time being, it would also be helpful if you changed the way rewards are offered. Instead of giving pop-up rewards that freeze a considerable portion of the Home community, please put "rewards" in the store instead. This would prevent countless other people from contracting the bug as well.
If you've read all of this, thanks for your time and I do hope you consider keeping these items available long enough for ALL of your loyal Home community members to acquire.

I second this. I know a lot of users, both new and veteran users who are completely locked out of Home now because of this bug. Even I am locked out and no possible work arounds have gotten me back in without freezing again. It would be great if those rewards were still earnable after E3 is over, even if they were need to be put in to the store to download. It would save somewhat of this ruined E3 experience that people are feeling right now due to this silly rewards bug.
Please keep these items available

I am sure that they will probably keep E3 there untill they fix the bug, considering how many are affected. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't though. There are alot of rewards that have gone missing without a reimbursement such as:
Criss angle coffin couch
Resistance 2 items
Waterfall terrace apt still majorly bugged, to the point where its unusable (3 months and counting?)
Rewards are a big part of home, you would think with all the money that goes into home from users & sponsers, we wouldn't have to deal with these issues. The past history with Sony worries me though, but lets see if a mass scale like this will change things ...

Yes I agree put them in the central plaza kiosk or use some other method to let people obtain them after the fix has been released please!!!!!

Well, considering that Sony is in make-up mode, I really doubt they can afford to ignore their customers right now. Even if this weren't so close to a month of lost revenue, reason dictates that for people to buy stuff in Home, they need to be able to sign into Home. If they don't fix this soon, they won't have any customers left. Similary, if they ignore their customers to give them ridiculous advice like "use an alternate account," many of them will jump ship altogether. Hopefully, they'll want to keep up the goodwill instead of promoting an event that locks out their loyal customers without warning and saying "too bad, you missed out."
