The items you buy for the game can only be used in the game. They cannot be used outside of the game. Please read the decription of the items before making a purchase.
So far, only items won (rewards) can be used outside of the game.

I have been wedged on the 'Brute Beware' quest for 2 weeks now. The lizard almost never appears (only did once in these 2 weeks) - but then when it did, and I killed 4 of them, I got no credit for it. I can't move forward.

Even though I've pretty much lost all interest in this game I decided to give it another try after the weekly update and all I have to say is... wow. It's been on Home for five weeks now and it still can't get past the loading screen.
I take it since Lockwood has already made their money off people from items sold during Mercia's launch, they have no intention of ever fixing it?

Judging from the lack of response to my last post, I guess I'm right about Lookwood not caring whether the game works properly since they've already made their money off it during its launch.

Officials are not required to respond to every discussion or post. But they do read them.
The issues are known (due to our input) and are very likely being worked on. Understand, some fixes cannot be achieved over-night. Sometimes it may take weeks or more.

What's the point of a feed back thread then?

I doubt it.

These same issues go all the way back to the E3 demo. In fact the Mercia demo was taken offline for a bit to be "fixed" because it was so badly glitched and they ended up extending the E3 event a week or two because playing it was a requirement to finish the E3 quest. The same issues, from what I understand, were also present in the Beta and several testers said the game wasn't even close to being release ready. So they've known about these issues for a while and haven't done anything to fix them. They released it without fixing it at all to make a quick buck. This is a basically a "too bad, so sad, we've got your money, and you've been had" situation now. Plain and simple.

They've had since the E3 demo to fix major issues like the stuck on the loading screen one.
