Experiencing problems staying connected to HOME

20 replies 286 views Edited Jun 12, 2013

This has been going on all night.  I can log in no problem.  Inevitably I will get the Club Chat Channel Disconnect warning.  This is followed by a complete network disconnect.  I am not just booted out of HOME, I am completely booted off the network.  The error code is 8002A548.  I followed the troubleshooting steps associated with this error code, but to little avail.  I have a suspicion heavier than usual traffic on the network may be a factor here, but that is really just guess work.  I am curious if anyone else is having trouble staying connected to HOME, specifically this particular issue.  Thank you to all respondents in advance.

Everyone in my club, all our friends and many others on Home are reporting the same issues.

It's the E3 event and all of it's problems that's impacting the overall performance and connectivity of Home.

Pray for a solution!

I was looking around after I posted this, and it seems this issue(or one very much like it) was affecting users across the network.  Whatever it is, it is also occurring outside of HOME.  I am not happy anyone is experiencing this problem, but it is good to know I am not alone.  Thank you for responding :smileyhappy:

Yes it happened to me last night.
I got the M10, then the 800whatever, had to try to get back online, tnen back on home. It was a real pain in the neck, very frustrating to say the least.
So you are definately not alone and they say misery loves company, so I guess I've got some great company! :smileyhappy:

This exact same issue just happened to me. Chat channels disconnected, then shortly afterward I was signed out of the PSN.

Yep, I got the same thing like 20 mins ago, happened as soon as I confirmed a purchase.  I tried to get back on Home again to see if my purchase went through but it just freezes on the start up screen.  Going to try deleting.

I have been encountering several different error codes this weekend, as well as various types of connection loss.  The E code from my first post came up fairly frequently.  Some other disconnect codes include m-10, m-23, c-293c(I think, I accidentally pressed X before making note of the code).  The disconnects and resulting error codes began occurring most frequently around 3:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. EST.  At that point, I really did not want to fight the problems any longer.

Most of these error codes, if you track them via the support page, seem to indicate a network error server side.  I have tried all the usual troubleshooting techniques:  cache clearance, uninstall/reinstall HOME, and power cycling my networking equipment.

When I first began this thread, I noticed similar sounding complaints(complete log out, network disconnect)on other forums for games with multiplayer content.

To all respondents, thank you for posting.  I will check back in later.  Hopefully someone will have found a fix, or we will receive some official comment on or around the 17th.

The code is C-931, which I've gotten numerous times, accompanied by a sign-out.  Other sign-outs occur randomly and without warning, and some follow the Club Chat Channel disconnect.  Sometimes I can't sign-in, or it takes a ridiculous amount of time.  I think everyone went to E3 without any regard to our support.  Do they really think we're all going to run out and buy a PS4 when we get treated like this?

Same exact thing happened to me last night and seems to be continuing on over today as well. I should mention that happened to a lot of my friends as well, every error code causing us to all get booted multiple times. Its that **bleep** E3 causing all these issues, since that came all kinds of problems have been happening like cutthroats server being down, aurora issues, casino, i can go on...I even had this weird issue where i couldnt load up or go to any space for 2 days lol I had to uninstall and reinstall home to fix, hope none of you go through that straight up bs, but anyway these network issues are def a pain in the **bleep**

Same issues here, multiple errors and signouts. I'm finding that these errors seem to mess up the router settings and only a full power cycle of the router will let me sign back in and connect to home again. This should NOT be happening, power cycling the router is not something that should be done this often, it unstabilizes the speeds i get from my ISP. Im not expecting any sort of fix though, i've come to expect very little in the way of customer service from Sony for Home issues  :smileymad:
