Helpful hints to post the best suggestions:
1) Your top Virtual Item requests from games or general items. A Virtual Item is pretty much anything in Home you can own (clothing, figurines, furniture, etc.) but cannot live in (like Personal Spaces).
2) Visual aids AKA screenshots! If you can find a screenshot of what you want, please include these! That old saying, "A picture is worth 1000 words," could not be truer. You all do a great job. Keep throwing suggestions and pics our way!
3) and don't be afraid to include any other suggestions you can think of (can be anything, just ask!)
Thanks in advance for collecting images, reference art, etc to best illustrate just what you're talking about.

Avatar Protection:
Ignore Feature:
Click on any user you choose and select Ignore to...
make both you & this user invisible to each other.
Gives users the power to enjoy spaces without having to mute, report, & leave.
Drastically cuts down on the quantity of reports filed.
The in world ignore feature could work similar to the XMB block feature...
in the sense that you have an ignore list that holds x number of users.
I understand this could pose a problem with mini games...
but the benefits far out weigh the issues.
I suppose the user who chose to ignore should bare the sacrifice here...
not being able to join a mini game occupied by an ignored user...
as well as being booted from any mini game that an ignored user joins.
XMB Messenger Protection:
Firmware Update:
Option to receive messages from friends only.
This feature should also block random friend requests...
We can easily turn the message block off temporarily...
to receive a friend request from someone we have enjoyed meeting.
Unlike the way the block feature works now...
the system should notify users that messages are not being received...
because their is a sense of satisfaction immature users get from not knowing.
XMB message abuse becomes non existent.
Side note:
The ability to use real pictures as an avatar in the XMB friends list.
Social Networking Profile:
Viewable by friends only.
A home page of sorts similar to that of MySpace & Face Book...
Just a profile page we can post personal info & pictures for friends to view.
I don't think it should be complicated with messaging features & such...
since PlayStation HOME is already a social network.
Text Box:
Change local text back to colored text.
Make group text white with user color in the back round.
This would be much improved with leaving club text as is...
I'm sure we are all aware of the giant disappointment with all white text.
Don't need the symbols L,G,C in front of text to signify the channel...
I think we can decipher this easily using these color concepts.
Private messaging should be available to friends only.
Rather than PM from user name to signify a private message...
have the message flash...
This will bring attention to the text box since the avatar doesn't gesture or text in bubble...
I understand this would resemble a moderators text but it won't say Mod...
as well as with the adjustment of only friends being able to private message...
we will know it's not a moderator.
Bring back black as a text color option...
have it display as silver in the text box or something.
When the text box is closed it should not open automatically upon texting...
would be nice when it's not crowded & one prefers to just read bubbles.
On that note...
The text box icon having a flashing indicator to signify a private message...
would be extremely helpful when a user has his/her text box closed.
Address the issue of text bubbles raising up off the screen.
Wardrobe:
The client 1.4 storage & sorting is extremely beneficial...
Although taking the time to finally improve this for us & not going all the way with it...
as in letting us sort each item in any particular order... I don't understand.
I always thought being able to create & name multiple folders in each category...
would be a terrific addition as well.
More save slots please!
Furniture:
Increase the furniture limit!
As well as active item limit & lighting item limit.
75-100 Items / 5 Active Items / 16 Lights
*Would be minimum for practical usage.
L1 Quick Messaging:
Ability to change the default messages.
Include a new option in L1 Menu that opens a list of emoticon face symbols...
Integrate the ability to open the L1 menu while text chatting...
for the purpose of adding emoticon face symbols to current text.
R1 Menu:
More Dances!
Dance Routine Option...
You select this to create a custom one minute dance routine...
This saved routine can be selected to repeat automatically on a loop...
while your free to chat.
More Poses!
I think all the poses should be more animated too...
So we are not like statues as much...
more constant slight adjusting & realistic movement...
like that of which you see when your not posing...
Include more subtle hand gestures upon chatting while posing.
Avatar Pace!
Add an option in the R1 menu to set your avatar's maximum walking pace...
It would be really nice to just hold the left stick up without running...
Slow - Medium - Fast - Jog - Run would be excellent options...
With the current top speed being jog & running being even faster =)
The pace should stay set to where it was last despite logging off PlayStation HOME.
Customization!
Ability to customize the order of all features in the R1 Menu.
R2 Voice Chat:
Have avatars hand gesture upon using the mic as well.
People will see your avatar hand gesture as if speaking...
but see no text & will be able to determine your currently in a group voice chat.
Rather than hold the button to voice chat...
press once to enable speaking & again when finished with unrestricted time.
Music / Video:
I understand this is a tough one due to legal issues with broadcasting media online.
At the least the ability to broadcast media to ourselves if not with others.
Personal I-Pod player that utilizes the hard drive...
Functional televisions for personal spaces to utilize our hard drive video.
If at all possible to cut through the legal tape...
Integrate media sharing with others!
This was advertised for PlayStation HOME since before the closed beta!

Ability to utilize the PlayStation Eye Toy in PlayStation HOME.
Central Spaces:
I thought a really cool over hall of Central Plaza...
& it's surrounding spaces would be an epic undertaking.
First of all...
I think a lot of users feel that the NA Central Plaza...
is the worst central space in comparison to all other regions.
Just completely redo it!
Make the bowling cosmic bowling!
Score screens above the lanes that all can see...
Team Bowling? Like Leagues?
Were each lane is competing against each other as a team?
When someone bowls a 300 have their name lit up with lights & sirens!
Fix the bowling mechanics so that when a pin is properly nailed from the side...
it kicks over directly with sufficient velocity to knock other pins down...
As it stands now... some pickups that should be quite achievable...
are practically impossible.
Team Sports & Poker:
I've always thought HOME should have more interactive games for multiple users.
When I first bought the Tropical Retreat private space I thought...
it would be really cool to be able to play some 4 on 4 football or volleyball here...
or at the Seaside of Memories public space for that matter.
When the Playground space first opened...
I thought the horse game was pretty cool but...
a little 3 on 3 pick up ball would be so much cooler.
I know some people would say just go play a basketball game on your PS3...
but I think having these types of games in PlayStation HOME would be very fun too...
Although I imagine this may be difficult to program... I'm not sure...
Just a thought.
This also makes me think we could have a much better game show space than Buzz.
I've always thought Poker could have been done much better...
I found the graphics quite disappointing...
Being down low & feeling like your at the table is what I had in mind...
Automatically group voice chat all the players at the table together?
Hope we get a public poker space again...
The bankroll feature is what made EA Poker enjoyable...
The private space substitution doesn't suffice for the loss at all...
& the graphics are even worse.
My Hair!!!
Client Update 1.4 took away my hair color!
The second slot used to be a dirty blonde color...
Now it's this greenish yellow that actually looks like a red head...
Please add our old hair colors back with these new ones!!!
I read a great suggestion here in the forums before...
an alternative option to color swatches for hair...
utilizing an RGB Slider I believe was the term.
That would be a terrific feature...
being able to completely customize our hair color...
I would take it even further, with the ability to customize two strands of color in a hair do...
being able to accent & highlight our hair.
Closing:
Real feature upgrades that add replay value to PlayStation HOME.
Making constant new mini games & gimmicky spaces...
with lack of new content to offer disappoints me week after week.
I've always thought the PlayStation HOME Staff...
could & should spend more time on feature improvements like these...
as opposed to endless months of new mini games & spaces.
I realize a portion of these concepts may be impractical...
from a programming stand point... just want to have all my desires vented.
However, a lot of these concepts are not difficult programming & are quite popular.
Any programming difficulty encountered with the first two features...
regarding Avatar & XMB Messenger Protection...
should be met head on with dedicated resolve...
These two concepts would grant users the right to enjoy PlayStation HOME...
free from harassment...
Personally, upon these concepts becoming popular quite some time ago...
I think they should have been made top priority.

Chess:
This section is set apart from the rest of the document due to it being rather lengthy...
Disregard if not interested in Chess =)
I've always wanted a more suitable space dedicated to chess...
The Mall is so mundane with highly irritating elevator music...
The Playground is so dark & drab...
Not to mention both spaces have rule flaws & bugs in the chess programming.

My thought is for all those tables to be turned into checkers tables...
Create a new space dedicated to chess!
My Dream Space:
I'm envisioning a lustrous scenic space...
consisting of dark misty woods alongside of...
a big mountain with creeks & waterfalls everywhere.
Up along this mountain is a good number of chess boards spaced out in seclusion...
with nothing but the soothing sounds of water near by.
Other users can't come up to harass the players...
the only way to get a seat is to join a queue at the bottom in a lobby area.
In this lobby area are big screens...
broadcasting current games being played for spectating while waiting in queue...
This concept would need to have a block feature to deter cheating...
Any users spectating in this lobby...
should not be able to message users at a table... including friends.
As far as the misty woods go...
having another feature or game in this space to utilize there could be pretty cool.
In my mind it's a bright sunny day up on the mountain...
while the woods are cast in the shadows of thick forest & mist.
Avid chess players are in the lobby waiting in queue...
viewing big screens broadcasting current games being played & socializing.
The current players up on the mountain are enjoying peaceful uninterrupted chess...
with the soothing sounds of the waterfalls & creeks everywhere.
Chess Notes:
The original chess programming from The Mall is still missed...
It had only one minor bug...
declaring a Stalemate on the wrong persons turn.
It also had a closer two dimensional view of the board from the top...
All online Chess is played in 2D...
easier to read the combinations that are in play...
We need the ability to zoom in from the top cam that is so far away now.
Please have the knights face forward again...
they look really funky facing sideways.
Timer options & standard chess ratings would be a plus.
Add the ability to switch sides with your opponent without getting up...
winner chooses after each game or an option to request change of side.
Have the checkmating move display in slow motion while zooming in...
as well as a resign option... the avatar tips his/her king.
To help deter cheating... disable group chat for players at the table...
Include an option to request a voice link to your opponent.
If a player refuses to start a match or refuses to play a match at any point...
they should be removed from the table after a certain period of time...
Timer options would help address this...
although players refusing to begin a match still need to be removed.
Sell chess boards for private spaces!
Chess Programming:
About 8 months after PlayStation HOME went public...
the original chess program at The Mall was updated...
creating a nightmare of rule flaws & glitches.
Almost a year after that...
we were given The Playground...
much improved programming but still has a good portion of issues as follows...
Sometimes upon checkmate, game incorrectly declares stalemate...
a match can not be stale while the king is in check!
Some rare checkmates kick the checkmating player from the table while declaring stalemate...
You Tube ''The Legal Mate'' for an example...
Black can perform this mate without an issue...
If white tries it, they game declares stalemate & kicks the white player from the table.
Players can castle illegally despite the opponent's impeding piece...
meaning a piece impeding on either square between the rook & the king.
Sometimes certain pieces can't be moved to a square that it legally should be able to...
or randomly making a legal move can result in the player booting them self from the table.
Sometimes check can be completely ignored...
When this happens it means the game is really bugged out...
resulting in players being able to move pieces through other pieces on the board...
as if they are not even there.
The darker colors of the board are not as easy on the eye.
