Since most Home users are asking for a personal space that can be more of a 'Home', why not design an actually home? If you think about it, the Luxury Lakehouse is - huge - and only 4.99. It has some built in items also. Why not make the rooms smaller, add walls and sections. I know if something like this did come out right, it'll be a hit. Now, I'm not talking anything like the Mansion. Don't really need 'backed in' furniture for this place. The Masnion is huge in the front, well all the rooms are really big. I'd love to own a real house as a personal space. Userse like a big personal space, but not open space. This is possible. I love the pictures I listed below, it's like a dead on visual of what I would want. And be able to make it day/night theme, and be able to open some doors.

comes with a pair of children too! lol
Yea man thats a good idea, my favorite space is my Hollywood Hills and thats the only one i use cause its more of a real house.

I love this idea
I would take it a step farther. We know that there are many home members who like to do online relationships and even have home weddings. The owner of the house should be able to give permissions to other friends so they can come and go as they please without the owner being present, they could place and move items, access wardrobe, invite other friends.
If your going to have a home, might as well have a family too

Giving permission to another user is good, but accessing other users furniture wouldn't happen, since it's not on your account. Maybe move it around though if it's already placed. It'll make a great personal space and/or a club skin.
Accessing wardrobe has been talked about in the forums for some time, and probably won't happen anytime soon. Mostly due to security reasons. You never know though...

Omg, to get the freedom to let the ppl on our list go to our personnal spaces on Home, and us to go to our friend's, that would be so cool
I dont know why anyone would want to open doors on Home tho, warping in the other room after we would have pressed X would be enough.. what is so special about doors ?

It's just a question of how far Sony is willing to go in redesigning the core code to accommodate what people want. I know I have made comparisons to Secondlife, not to say one is better than the other, but to emphasis what other virtual communities are doing, and in the coming years we are only going to see advances in this sort of technology. If Sony doesn't incorporate some of them they will be left behind.

They'll be behind what? Home is a free PSN service. Only users of the PS3 have access to it. Sony knows people use other social services. I don't think that they think of those other services as competition.
As Home grows, as we move to future PlayStations, anything is possible.

The technology is always changing. I have seen many suggestions on this forum for features that already exist in secondlife. It is also just as "free" as home is. If they improved the stability of their graphics they could become more competitive with Sony.

ahahah Second Life, i tried to play it one time, well a few times, and my pc froze each time, not enough memory because the program is really big.
and yes, from what i saw last, they didnt change and upgrade the program, so it doesnt look very good.
but yes, they need to add more things on Home, then alot more ppl would join and stuff.
