In terms of revenue, it's not flopping at all. For some reason, that 7-day X7 pass is one of the best selling items each week, despite it being the single worst way of accessing it.

X& is dead     If only that were true! I could sing the Hallelujah Chorus!

The above comment is my opinion, unless I state a fact. You can disagree with my opinion, but facts are facts.

all of the "in-Home" was of accessing x7 are the worst ways of getting in.

if someone doesnt already have access to x7, the only good way to get in is by getting a PS+ subscription. unless said person would rather have a gimmicky suit/dress or overpriced personal space instead of free games/themes/avatars, early access to demos/betas and thousands of dollars worth of discounts.

the x7 passes are huge scams. whoever came up with them is probably sitting in their evil lair laughing.

7 day pass for $4.99. Pay that three times and you've already paid the permanent $15 gold/diamond suit amount. Why would you pay for access for each week? The best thing about X7 are the bundle discounts. Pay for a discount?

30 day pass for $14.99. Same price as permanent access with gold/diamond. Instead of permanent, you get 30 days and instead of having a fancy suit, you get nothing.

They are scams.

And dont forget you can buy a part of the mansion, thats $15 as well, but gains you permanent access. Or it could be just $10 if you got the garage for free after the outage.

The passes are not the best way to gain access, as Lunar has said, and I'm suprized they sell as well as they do, especially if anyone buys the 30 day pass. If you'd like access, I suggest using one of the other options to get in.

In a few more weeks or months.  They are going to release one of those female NPC outfits in the free tab.  Next thing you know the same female outfit is for males.  A guy in a tank top and a mini skirt.  -Shivers.-

Though I only go inside X7 on Wednesdays to check on the new stuff.  I enjoy X7 a lot but just the outside.  The inside doesn't have Matlock playing on the big T.V. screen.

X7 is more than likely oblag casino, take 2.  google Minus5, led blue lit knock off copied from a vagas bar, was the blue space we openhouse gave feedback on.  Online social mmo's have been around for some time.  Home, instead of innovating and setting milestones, is out of touch ran by several millstones.  creative accounting may spit out some favorable numbers on X7, compared to oblag, lol.  Oblags toe tag being fitted is long over due.

X7 is the perpetual everything must go store, many big cities have.  Costco paid membership to get access to items a week early.  going to a members only night club to buy high end items, kind of a good fellas, godfather, crime syndicate premis on its own.  Hardly one iota of originality or innovation in much they have done on anything lately.  The trend of intentionally directly undermining developers goes back years.  Following others markets, manipulating or monkeywrenching them, instead of finding coexisting complimentary markets of their own, seems to be the extent of their freemium marketing savvy.

Numerous fremium marketing strategies have track records, and the Home fifedom in a bubble surrounded by nodding yes men, seems to like to repeat past mistakes, theirs and others.  Short term fads, can undermine established consistent balances. Fremium is typicly 80% of profits come from 20% of the users.  80/20 being manipulated poorly, will alienate the 20, and difuse its support.  trying to force market the 80/ 20 model elsewhere, is greed, and greed has been the ruine of numerous freemiums.  Stealing ideas, duplicating content, poor marketing, and lacking focus.

When, the core spaces went live, we were told home was headed in a more gaming centered direction.  Is that only after the mansions, which need virtual carrots dangled to sell them, hit a certain number of sales?  Was the gaming centerd direction, discarded?  One new game every few months, and removing 16 spaces at once, is supposed to keep people interested, and sustain the user base?  Is virtual shopping the main focus of home now?  Target audiences, tend to eventually realize they are targets and examine their support for things who manipulate them underhandedly, condecendingly, and indifferently.
