I used to like HOME, perhaps it was just the hype, but I got to BETA test it, and all that good stuff, I was privledged to have the ability to openly chat with a mic...yadda yadda...someone hacked it and showed porn at the theater...good tiimes...LOL,but, i've watched it grow into a monster I dont want to be a part of anymore.

Someone hacked the theater and showed porn and THEN Home became a monster. SMH, just SMH.

The above comment is my opinion, unless I state a fact. You can disagree with my opinion, but facts are facts.

I dont understand... Of course if you look at home only for online weddings, fams, and things like that it will look very strange.

But Home is also a social game that lets you chat with friends, place furnitures ( the most detailed ones i ever seen in a game) in a creative way, match virtual clothes and generally spend some time doing what you want with who you feel like.

Its a monster only if you concentrate on the weird side of it... But then everything can be a monster if you think like that

Wow I missed alot in here. I'm confused now whether this was a call for MVPs to be ordained so that they might conduct weddings in Home or just what it was all about. Anyway, good luck to you OP and congrats to the happy couples whomever they may be.

no, that was taken care of very quickly by the HOME devs. The monster to which im referring was created and perpetuated by the community.

We're in the preliminary stages of the Most Valuable Pastor program, especially suited to those interested in preaching and pedestals perhaps.

Re: need acting Pastor for PS Home wedding

May 30, 2013

OK... my thread has been more fun than I could have imagined.. but if we could all get back to my original request, the bride would deeply appreciate it.

Can anybody play the role of Pastor at our online wedding?

We are looking for a nicely done online 'wedding' of our avatars, not a legal union in our real life.  Although it is a 'play acting' basis, we desire that it be conducted with all the seriousness and decorum of an actual wedding.  We will have a full contingent in the wedding party (30 people), groomsmen, bridesmaids, with everyone properly attired including the guests, in a decorated chapel (clubhouse) on PS Home.  A reception will follow at another clubhouse.  There will be a photographer and DJ.  Bride and groom will be in formal attire.  This is a major event on ps Home, and some guests will be leaders of prominent online clubs.

We need someone who can meet with the bride and groom to gather information and do planning.  Then 'take-charge' of a pre-event rehearsal at the chapel with all participants in the wedding party.  Familiarize all participants with their roles, positions and movements within the chapel.  Practice those plans so that we are all familiar with what we need to do and when.  Then, on the wedding day, conduct the ceremony according to that plan at the actual event.  Pastor needs a mic.  Bride and groom will recite their prescribed vows and then a personally written statement to each other using mics.  All other participants will be non-mic.

I will provide a $20 psn card in advance to cover pastor clothing of our choice and planning time, then $80 upon satisfactory completion.  You may opt for an Amazon gift card instead of psn.

Serious people can send me a private message here on the forum.
