Unless there Updating Home to version 2.0 there's no need for Home to be down....

;^) It'd be even better if there were a Home-wide announcement feature, warning all connnected users that Home would be down in fifteen minutes. This would allow folks to wrap stuff up, and not be taken by surprise. Message boards are effectively a world away....

That would actually be nice given most Home users don't use the forum although many should. It's a great place for information.

And serioiusly it's nice to see the Home Management team making an effort to now post when maintenances are going to occur. Perhaps there should be a weekly maintenance notice on the sidebar as well given many new users aren't all aware of the weekly downtime. There was a time when we would only learn about these from twitter or the EU.

Let's hope they keep it up. Smiley Happy

:^) Yeah. Knowing ahead of time takes the sting out of the worst things. Home already has a message of the day while logging in. Perhaps a real-time announcement could be pushed to all users when maintenance is imminent. Such a feature may require a core update, but it'd be welcome....
