kikai Event; Greatest home game ever?

52 replies 357 views Edited Jul 29, 2013

With the exception of the original xi, the Kikai Event ranks up there as one of the all time greats. The build up for this game hitting the states was tremendously high. ( at least for me it was) And it didn't dissapoint. Great gameplay, the alien arrival and eventual destruction of neon was the stuff of pure genius.  Being able to work as a team or alone.  Trekking across many different landscapes to save the world and the human intrest in the game to me makes it one of the best. Granzella did a phenomenal job on this incarnation of the Edo series. So let the debate begin. In your opinion,  is this the greatest game on Home and or,  if not,  one of the greatest? Let the debate begin……

I've loved the Kikai event and yes for me at least it has been the greatest Home game/event I have ever participated in. The ability to play through with friends and help others along the way keeps me engaged and coming back. I'll really be sad to it go.

Kikai > Xi

In my opinion, Kikai has been the best event Home has ever had. All things considered, the rewards are great, the servers are relatively stable, it's a lot of fun, well thought out and not ridiculously hard.

You can tell Granzella really put a lot of time and effort into this and it shows. I would even say that it was worth the wait for it to come to NA as it appears that a lot of the teething issues that EU and JP seen, aren't happening in NA.

What would Home be like without them? That's something to ponder. They are certainly my favorite developer is so many ways.
