is home just going to end up being an extension of the PSN?

I understand what home is and what it does but my question is, will it replace the PSN or will it simply add to it. For example, when talking about trophies. Yes, you can look at your trophies in home, but will there be some way of viewing them while not in home. I think the problem is that not everyone will want to use home and end up just bypassing it completely. I'm hoping that everything you can do in home can be done through the XMB (aside from mini-games and things like that) like jumping into multiplayer games.

So if you can do it without Home, why use Home ??

well the only disadvantage would be taking like 10 seconds more, so my bet is no, unless they eventually evolve a 'home lite' that is all the functions without the graphical intensity, but that prolly wont happen becuase the ps3 was designed to be powerfull and haul ass.

Home will not replace the PSN, it is a part of it.
