help!

8 replies 13 views Edited Feb 14, 2012

I was decorating my desert haven when I got the bright idea to put the fishtank from the dream yatch behind the front desk. Bad idea! It fit; however you could not walk back there with it. So I decided to remove it because I plan to use my desk. Only thing is. I cant walk back there to remove it. I was using a sofa to move the fishtank but one side is blocked by an invisible wall. Any ideas on how to remove this?

Open your Furniture Browser. Select Manage Furniture, which is on the right.

Here you can select any piece of furniture in a space. I believe pressing Triangle will mark the item for removal. Press the button, hit Circle, and you'll be asked to confirm the change.

Voila. Fish tank is gone.

Click Start> Personal>Redecorate then select Organize and find your fish tank.

omg omg omg thank you guys. I never checked that out when they added that feature. That would have saved me an hour.

On a side note. Is there any way to make it brighter in the desert haven building? Its so dark you cant see anything.

Haha... slower, yes, but isn't he more accurate with the "Organize" rather than "Manage Furniture" ? Actually, after thinking about it, I don't know who is correct. Regardless, you both beat me to it.

Hmmm...that's not a terribly dark space, so my first suggestion is to turn up the brightness on your TV a bit. If it's set to "Movie" mode, it's probably darkening everything.

You can make Home as a whole brighter by opening up your Menu Pad, then going to settings> visual > gamma. Press X to activate this, then move the bar to the right to make the image brighter.

Note that this affects all of Home, but if Desert Haven seems that dark to you, all of Home probably needs a bit of brightening.

As for you, ck2875, Boo.
