furniture bundle? Forgotten?

11 replies 8 views Edited Aug 29, 2009

I'm a bit curious about this.  It has been almost two days since the update and I can't find it.  If you are curious about what I mean:

"The new Post-Apocalyptic Apartment is sure to appeal to your inner Road Warrior, and to celebrate its unveiling we’re offering a value bundle of furniture that runs the gamut from chairs to couches to tables to flooring to storage to assorted décor all at a special introductory price that just can’t be beat."  source

Am I missing something? have you guys heard any news on it? where is the thing?

I'm afraid you are wrong.  there really is only one way to interpret "value bundle". the whole inventory/wardrobe thing was a gray area, but not this.

For the sake of argument let's say it is some weird misunderstanding where "value" and "bundle" have new meanings. There is still this line "all at a special introductory price that just can’t be beat". All the new furniture is the same price as everything there before it.

I'm not griping about price or saying anything bad.  I just want to know where this value bundle is, and when it may be released. We were told something would be there and it is not. A little notice as to why would be nice.

There where unforeseen problems last week, they are planning on getting it in the stores this Thursday September 3rd. No guarantee it will though.

Heck Yeah - they sure should.  Not to mention the fact that many people spent $$$ to buy the individual items.  Makes you wonder if there was a "problem" with it or not.  Why not get some quicky $$$ first by selling all the furniture items seperately - then just slide in the "value bundle" after that.

Sony and the managers are going to see a lot of "negative" comments on this forum if that is the case (error with uploading and trying to do it again at a later date).

I hope (but doubt) that some sort of refund will be available for those that bought the individual pieces if/when they do release the "value bundle"
