When I sync our dancing, can you tell?

23 replies 248 views Edited Nov 9, 2012

When I'm dancing with someone, I like to try to sync our dancing up so that we're dancing in a pattern that looks like we're actually dancing with each other instead of just around each other.  What I've always wondered is, does the other person see the same thing I do?  If I bother syncing up our dancing, will you even be able to appreciate that?

Most likely no.  I've seen a few people that looked synced while dancing before and I've got it to look like i was synced on my screen but something I noticed when using 2 ps3s is that the movements are kinda off, theres a delay from what you see and everyone else.

I was afraid of that.  I guess it doesn't make much of a difference to bother syncing then.

It still looks cool.  Next time you try it, ask some people around if you looked synced or not.

I think it matters on when we push the X button, the quality of our provider and internet traffic. I've seen people perfectly sync'd, and others that were a little to way off.

But then, in real life when dancing, are we truly in sync?

The way you play the game is the way you live your life.

I've asked the person I was dancing with if it looked synced and they would say we were, but I always suspected we weren't.

As for if we're ever truly in sync...

Then you have both answered the question.

The way you play the game is the way you live your life.

It all depends on each persons lag.  If two people are dancing, and you had four people looking at them, most likely everyone would see them synced differently, as lag can vary quite a bit.

I tried that with two PS3 in the same room and what we saw on each one was diff so I say no. But We used to do (almost)sync ska line at novus so not so sure.  1 Thing I know when two avi interract. What each of them see is different. And what the other bystander see is another thing. But yes there is lag everywhere.

Freedom is not the power to say no.
Real freedom is the power to say yes.
