This thread is sure inactive for a relatively new and expansive space.  Only a handful of posts in the past month for a space that has only been around 5-6 weeks.  For Digital Leisure's sake, I hope that it's not a reflection of the Western Frontier's traffic.

I know that I have not visited the space in a month.  Is the Frontier a ghost town already?

I was thinking the exact same thing. Cat Surprised!

I think I'll hop there. Just curious. Smiley Wink

The casino definitely seems way more successful. Both have similar formulas to a certain extent but it seems clear lightning in a bottle couldn't be captured twice. Tranny has 3.13 million earned at the casino on the main and did purchase chips here and there. But the money spent on Western Frontier? $0.00

I will say this, about a couple of days ago (after getting a refund of lost gold by DL) I felt like playing a game of liars dice and there was no one to play the game with in the Saloon.  I headed back to the blackjack table and NO ONE there either, fortunately you dont need other players to play the Blackjack but its certainly not a good sign.

The original loading times sure didn't help. Lot of work went into developing it although to be honest I find it more fun to hang at Acorn than WF.

My experience with Western Frontier consisted of zero money spent and zero rewards earned (except for the free outfit and campsite). I haven't felt compelled to return since the first week.

Didn't spent a dime either. I played the finger fillet for a couple days and got one shirt... That I already regret!

My little tour yesterday showed 2 or 3 avi in town and stage coach. Maybe a dozen at the mine. The saloon had 5 or 6 but half of them were "back soon".

I feel kinda sad for those who might liked it more. How are you going to trade if you are the only one with coins?

Lol. I keep forgetting this place even exists, literally. Gee, traffic is low? I wonder why that is? Maybe it's because no one likes this idiotic system? Good, I hope it becomes a ghost town, just as I predicted in my posts in this topic.

Maybe then they will wise up and allow us to buy trade tokens directly. Or better yet, let us just buy the clothes directly instead of having to gift/trade. I'll still buy some of those clothes if they provide a direct, reasonably priced way to obtain the items.

I haven't returned to this abysmal place since I came back with my alt on day 2 to finish testing the games and payouts, and I have no reason to ever return again. I also regret getting the free space, just another thing to clutter my apt list, and it stupidly does the western frontier loading screen every time you exit.

While the saloon is cool, Tranny wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the rest of this eventually winds up to be as well populated as Centralia or Prypiat.

I would never wish for a space to fail, especially something as ambitious and costly to develop as the Frontier.

Digital Leisure would, however, be helping themselves greatly by completely revamping the gold, tokens and rewards system.

Revamping would work, hopefully they listen to enough complaints and do that. It isn't a bad place, it just needs work.
