Honestly, its a tough call this year. We've got...

Lockwood, as awesome as ever.
Granzella, Irem Reborn, and boy does it show.
Heavy Water, because Avalon Keep is amazing.
Konami, in spite of their being more renoun for their games, has the Urban Camo, which is cool.
NDreams, who pioneered Locomotion.

EDIT: Can't believe I forgot...

Digital Leisure, who brought Casino gaming to home. (and that theres 100 weekly free chips REALLY helps them. Seriously.)

Yeah Lockwood and Granzella have been slugging it out BIG TIME this year.

And you forgot the dark horse Juggernaut Games gaining ground.

Veemee and Konami seem to be shooting themselves in the foot as far as community appreciation goes so its still a close race

I'd vote for Digital leisure for their constant attention to the casino, and for listening to their customers. I was also impressed how well the DL developer that I met at the early penthouse give away put up with me even after I made him blush. Thank you DL.

Eh? Where have Konami been shooting themselves in the foot? I know Veemee has been (Oh lordy, No Mans Land...), but where would you say Konami has been? As for Juggernaut, and for that matter Mass Media and Hellfire, they really haven't been doing too much in my opinion to earn my vote. True, Palace of the 7 Winds is amazing (the ONLY personal space that I have its Clubhouse counterpart for, actually) and Home Tycoon, once it got off the ground, proved to be ADDICTIVE, and the Midway is the Midway, but compared to, say, Mercia (I like it; it does need bug fixing, but I DO like it), the Casino and its consistient updates, or the sheer quality of Granzella...

Fact stands that, no matter how you look at it, compared to previous years its one heck of a race.

Trying to remain neutral ....but Konami is over priced and offers little to none at all support. I have been trying to remember the last time I saw anyone from Konami announce or make a public statement about anything since the JetSetter space.

This being back when people complained (for weeks) about that annoying Konami, Konami, Konami repeating itself over and over in the space. Konami inevtiably updated it to allow people to turn it off.

Also its lots of complaints about the Konami Lounge where people still play the dance game there.

Veemee ...(well in terms of being well rounded Developers)...they arent too community firendly either.

I think Digital Leisure is doing a great job in terms of Rewards, constant updates, and community interactions. Also price wise they are right up there with Lockwood and Granzella.

Thats why I also included Juggernaut Games because in terms of being a well rounded development company they fair well overall as opposed to just a few categories

Re: Vote For Your Overall Favorite 2012 Home Developer

I made a list of what I think;

  • Granzella: For their good quality content, and non restricting of items releasing in the US. Also; how well they have progressed in these past few months, as a company on Home. Is definitely a feat, worth bragging about.
  • Digital Leisure: Great with with community contact, and known for sticking to their word. They've really shown the Home community, just how well of a company they are. They've been great for Home, due to the fact that this wasn't the first time a company has tried a casino type thing on Home. Remember Ooblags, or Home Hold Em'? These two specific places, were great in the beginning. However, have failed to really connect with the community and have made people lose interests. Granted, Ooblags is no longer around. I don't think anyone needs to question, why it's not here anymore? Cat Wink
  • nDreams: Granted, I'm still up on the fence with nDreams. Due to the fact; of them releasing content like Terminator, is quite old in general. As well nRage seems to be a failed space. But they've really kicked it in gear, with the locomotions. Which has changed the way of Home, forever.
  • Lockwood: Though I will admit, they've did well I think with some of their releases this year. Mercia started out good, but now seems to have been forgotten and thrown under the rug. Though, I do realize there's a fix coming soon or may already be live. Then we have them releasing upRoar, just a few weeks later is quite unusual for a company to release two games so close together. But it seems like upRoar is a success, and lets just hope they continue well with game in the future. The release of Dream Island, was good as well. For the ability of swimming, and the fact it gave away rewards was good not only for the owners. But as well as for non owners.
  • Heavy Water: I must say, I'm in LOVEEEE with their tattoos and the fact they come in bundles. Is even better, and lets not forget. These past few weeks, they've been really giving back to the community with the free items. Who doesn't love free, nice content?
  • Konami: Though, their gothic line really hit it off at the start. It seems to have fall flat, and been forgotten. The release of the gothic personal space, and not releasing the club house at the same time. Really hurt Konami, in the end. By the time the clubhouse was released, nobody was interested in buying it.
  • Hellfire: We really need to thank them, for keeping close with the community. From their release, of Home Tycoon to the public. The game is quite addicting, though it's still a little baby compared to other Home games. It seems to be doing real well, so far. Lets hope they can just keep the community interested.
  • Mass Media: Releasing of Midway 3, this year. Seems to have been another plus, for Mass Media. Though since then, the company hasn't done much else. But we can't deny the fact, that Midway does offer some of the best and unusual rewards on Home.

Of course, there's other companies I could state as well.

I'm just stating the top companies on Home, as we speak.

This is all based on personal opinion, just so we're clear.

I guess everyone is overlooking the Cutteridge update and Minibots.

The year isn't over yet either. If I have to cast a vote now it would be tough. Right now, for me it's between Lockwood and Juggernaut.

Digital Leisure is 3rd only because they didn't :stick to their word", as mention earlier.

Lockwood's bonehead move not to change the showcase wasn't the best idea.
