Right, so Phil was out to show off some features to a bunch of game developers, not a speculative mass media, I'm sure he could have done it, but with all the PS3s they were using, he could have easily gotten mixed up, and didn't want to linger.  It was obviously possible, and would be dumb to disbelieve him. seeing as how he posted pictures from the hard drive.  Even if you couldn't go directly from the MS, you could just transfer from the MS to HDD in the XMB.  The problem with the beta is not that it doesn't work, but that it's not possible, there are only a few preset pictures to choose, and further subfolders are not reachable, this is going to be changed in the future.

Do you guys remember at the GDC Sony Keynote, Phil Harrison took a picture of the crowd with his Digital camera and then put the Memory Stick into the PS3?  And remember how it didn't work and he said "Let's just imagine you saw the pic".

Well, I was wondering if this actually work.  Perhaps Phil purposely messed that up because the functionality wasn't working yet?

r u........accusing phil of lieing to us? ugh, u should know better.

I'm sure if Sony managed to figure a way to load the media files off your harddrive (Videos/Music) and stream it across a radio and TV, they managed to get a picture from your flash drive to appear in a picture

If you listened, you would've heard him say that he put it in the wrong PS3. Sony has more than one you know.

If you were smart enough to read this sentence forward, put it in your sig.

People people, i KNOW what he "SAID".  And I also know that it's not very hard to implement this into Home.

All I was saying was that at  that VERY MOMENT when he was doing the demo, maybe it wasn't functional and he just "faked" a mistake.

People are saying it does not work right now in the Beta, so it's entirely possible that it wasn't working at the show and that he just "faked" messing up.
LOL I'm not doubting Sony's ability to have this in the final version though...HAHAH
