I'm sorry - perhaps like how some get upset about people complaining all the time, it gets me riled to see others making excuses for those that have let this community down time after time, and worse 'editors' at HomeStation that instead of adressing these issues, try and blame the people complaining about them in the first place.  It's pathetic.

Home ONLY exists because of the community of users, and the longer they get ignored, taken for granted of, and even insulted by the people that have the best chance of improving Home - the faster Home will die.

I'm not trying to make excuses for him. I don't know exactly why he hasn't posted anything in a while but I assume E3 is a pretty big reason. He hasn't even posted on the MVP board in a while so I'm guessing that's why. Believe me, I'm just as mad about Home's current state as anyone else, but all I know that is around this time of year is when it gets more quiet from anyone at Sony.

Too busy?  Yeah, what with the amount of work that went into making the new E3 space for Home, I'm sure he is VERY busy... oh wait.

Maybe he was too busy posting the Home Update on the US Blog... oh wait.

You really think he is too busy to spend a few seconds to cut and paste and post an update - which is part of his job?

Was he also too busy to spend a few seconds to start the June Suggestion thread? (as that was suppose to be posted 10 days ago - and is another one of his responsibilities)

Was he also too busy to spend a few seconds to make an official announcement that there will be no E3 event in Home?

If you want to know why there are so many people complaining about the service and support - maybe it's because of the problems with the service and support that contune to get worse.

Being patient and making excuses for those involved has only resulted in even more frustration, as the situation has only gotten worse, not better.

If you know the history around here, you know two things:

1. Everyone in Sony's Digital Platforms Group is involved in E3 preparations. Keeping in touch with the community always took a back seat during and before E3, and communication was typically handed off from the senior manager to a subordinate.

2. There are no subordinates anymore.

So, yes, Tempest was busy with E3 preparations. Alternatively, you're free to believe that he doesn't communicate with us because he doesn't like you personally. That's as reasonable a conclusion as anything else you'll come up with.

This doesn't look a post regarding new arcade cabinets for Home or ANY new content for that matter. I hope we get new arcade cabinets in Home.

Update looks bleh to me.
If we aren't getting a E3 space this year, that really does suck.
Content looks plain for tomorrow.

*as if that's the only alternative....   OK how about this then...

If you know the history around here, you would know a lot more than two things, including the fact that it takes only a few seconds to click Start a New Conversation and simply copy and paste May's Suggestion OP and change May to June... and do it 10 days ago, or 11 for that matter.  It isn't like he has to make a complex power point presentation for each month's suggestions thread.  So who's being unreasonable here?

Also you have no clue what Tempest was up to, nor can you explain with any reasonable conclusion why he didn't even have time to spend a few seconds doing what he is suppose to do.

Alternatively, you're free to believe that you know everything there is to know about the operations of Home. That's as reasonable a conclusion as anything else you'll come up with.

Keep in mind, this isn't the way I would discuss this matter, but as you have decided to go that route, I'm simply adapting to your way of arguing so that maybe you'll see how unreasonable you are being.

Bottom line: Very little is asked and very little is required to do these simple job requirements, for which he failed to do no matter what the excuse may be.  To me (and perhaps not you) that is just one of many clear indications how low a priority his Home related responsibilities are - and that is a reflection of what we have seen over the last several months - NOT just around E3.

I'm not being unreasonable, I'm offering an explanation. I'm also not nearly as worked up about it as you seem to be.

No new Suggestions thread? Don't care.

No blog updates? Don't care.

No new Message of the Day? Don't care.

Can y'all stop with the nonsense already. Feel free to post upcoming content, if you can't, then stay out of the thread and take you bantering with you.
