Look, other than the fact that I have no clue who any of you are, I am confidant enough to Promise, that I play more hold 'em than anyone who has commented so far.
That is no slight on anyone, but please, don't tell me what the game of Poker is like, and supposed to be....pure ignorance. I am legitimately playing some hold em right now with a few friends, to kill time before we head out. It's practically a hobby.
I'm only 20 but never, ever have I encountered 2 straights in a row. That does not happen. After an entire game where I made great choices during all the betting/ human interaction moments, it finally came down to him going all-in, twice in a row, where at this point, CPU controls everything. Just dealed us our hands layed out the flop/turn/river with no hesitation.......
aaaaand whadya know, 2 straights.
I don't mind losing at all, certainly with fake $$, but being cheated like this is such a turn off that I don't think I'll be returning to the Home poker tables.......what a shame, because up until that point, I thought this would be something I'd frequently take part in. I'm that turned off by what happened.
I've seen two full houses in a row.

Then you haven't played enough poker, kiddo. I've seen it happen in five card draw.
If you met the requirements for a reward, but it didn't unlock, please contact them with the details:
Fortunately their support/PR guy is excellent at refunding lost chips and fixing broken rewards.
in fairness i need to update... i got a prompt reply from chris at the above contact with instructions on
receiving my belated rewards. i'd encourage anyone who feels cheated to contact them.
i dont play poker-no good at it, but i do know the stats of those games are skewed.
but apparently the space is nothing more than a carney ''midway'' with a Casino theme.
so... that's that.
If people feel that the stats are unfair, then they should not only learn to "read" their opponents or the cards, but also the game. General when I play, I end up as one of the top three in the game. Sometimes I don't make it, but usually I do.
Does that mean I am cheating?
As I play games at The Paradise, the only people who claim cheating are the ones who have just lost. The winners never say that the game is cheating.
And for those of you who have analyzed the game and have come up with a pseudo formula, why is it that you continue to lose while others continue to win?
Skill is involved, yet also luck - we don't know what cards our opponents hold, nor what the Deaker will deal. And if we are losing more than we are winning, there's a possibility that we aren't very good players.
I literally just dominated one of the poker tables only to have the final person - All-in on both hands because he had to - get 2 straights in a row. I even had a 2 pair on the first hand. I proceeded to lose the final hand with not even a pair....no shot
actually though what the hell.
Has this happened to anyone? I have NEVER felt this cheated by a game.
CPU, not human beings were handing out those cards, so I feel like this person was given the win.
Also I never use Home, I just hopped on to roam, found the Casino and this happens............
2 straights in a row
Don't be a sore loser, no one cheated in poker.
Also it's just a rookie move to bet big when there is a posable straight on the table. What where you thinking?

when there were only 4 tiers i worked hard at the hold'em game to max it out... but after they started adding all the others i said "Pssh!, i'm not wasting any more $0.99 for buy-ins just to get a reward i'll probably only use or care about one time.

Actually I've won games and told the second-place finisher they should feel cheated. Because, Once it's down to just two ppl the blinds force you to play every hand, because, there either crazy high and eat up 50%-75% of your stack. This in turns takes the skill away and turns the game into a "coin-flip" most hands have a "50-50" chance. Unless it's pair vs. pair in which case its 80%-20% (in favor of the bigger pair) But w/ this it removes the skill and strategy of play. Whenever a player has K-rag or Ace-anything they push immediately eliminating any skill play... One reason for this is previously stated in an earlier post...
The true odds of being dealt any single pair (AA,KK) is 1 in 221; however a player should see a pocket pair about once every 17 hands... DL's Casino odds are even more preposterous than this. Inturn making players play eeverything because they fell like their unlikely going to get a better hand... as i stated i'm @ tier 4 hold'em winnings, played thousands of hands and have yet to be dealt AA, so i can win that dumb reward.
I played a chap once who hit four kings, a couple flushes and full house in the span of about 6 hands or so. He should have wiped out the table but he didn't really know how to bet those hands. I managed to hang around until we were the only 2 players left and ended up coming back from a huge chip disadvantage to win the game. His cards apparently took a turn for the worse and I beat him with a few hands of weak pairs, timely bluffs or whatever.
Luck plays a big part of the game but you don't always win without proper betting, even with great cards..
The Worst time where I thought someone cheated was when the person I was playing with started out getting a straight, he beat me by having a King while I had the Jack. Next he beat me once more by a flush when I had a Queen, he had a King. The final nail in the coffin was when I got a Full House and he had Four of a Kind.
Needless to say i lost chips but he didn't cheat, I had though, terrible luck XD
