Re: Umm. Cheated during Poker?

Do the people who spend little if anything at The Casino and who win more often than lose ever think of or complain about the Poker game cheating?

The way you play the game is the way you live your life.

Re: Umm. Cheated during Poker?

I've never purchased chips at Paradise Springs, but I've unlocked almost all of the rewards (sans bingo). So I must be doing something right regarding wins.

A few months ago I decided to start logging the outcomes of Digital Leisure's table games. They do not follow a realistic probability distribution. Given enough time/winnings, the house cheat will always kick in and the dealer will receive a statistically inaccurate number of wins. It's most noticeable in blackjack and war.

Yesterday I saw a new player get a straight, two full houses, and a straight flush within nine hands.

Absurd. Do not buy chips from them.

Absolutely! Dishonest and bad algorithms not to mention they fail to give rewards earned. IMO only an idiot will give them money.

yes, blackjack and war are the worst, but the most blatantly arbitrary odds posted are keno for zero matches pays only 3 to 1. i think it should be closer to 5 or 10- finally got it, got my 15 chips but not my reward -the ONLY reason i played. last time no reward was slots, 777 got "winners check'' but not the 777 shirt. craps worked fine statistically for me, but you cant ''shake the dice'' it will throw  odds off if you cant throw the dice the same way repeatedly.

If you met the requirements for a reward, but it didn't unlock, please contact them with the details:

techsupport@digitalleisure.com

Fortunately their support/PR guy is excellent at refunding lost chips and fixing broken rewards.

I've thought about that for a while, and figured if you pay real money to the game it's akin to online gambling and falls under the same restrictions, but given that the prizes are no more than vitrual items, it falls under arcade game, much like the pachinko machine loophole, except we can't sell off the rewards. In short they don't have to report to anyone.

It's no more than an arcade game with the odds stacked against you. Hopefully you find comfort in beating the odds when you do. That's at least the way I see it.

:^/ Because the is no possibility of winnings becoming money again, it isn't real gambling. So, faking the house percentage is legal, but it's still poor sportsmanship.

The games look like the casino games of chance that they're patterned after, so the player is lead to believe that the odds are the same. It's bad form on Digital Leisure's part for them not to be.

Look, other than the fact that I have no clue who any of you are, I am confidant enough to Promise, that I play more hold 'em than anyone who has commented so far.

That is no slight on anyone, but please, don't tell me what the game of Poker is like, and supposed to be....pure ignorance. I am legitimately playing some hold em right now with a few friends, to kill time before we head out. It's practically a hobby.

I'm only 20 but never, ever have I encountered 2 straights in a row. That does not happen. After an entire game where I made great choices during all the betting/ human interaction moments, it finally came down to him going all-in, twice in a row, where at this point, CPU controls everything. Just dealed us our hands layed out the flop/turn/river with no hesitation.......

aaaaand whadya know, 2 straights.

I don't mind losing at all, certainly with fake $$, but being cheated like this is such a turn off that I don't think I'll be returning to the Home poker tables.......what a shame, because up until that point, I thought this would be something I'd frequently take part in. I'm that turned off by what happened.

Dam lol considering most of the posts were actually confirming that the games of chance on home are skewed more than they should be, that was a pretty condescending statement. Especially seeing as you don't know any of the posters & 1 could possibly be a WSOP winner. Is it possible karma just kicked in lol.

i've competed in plenty of events held at dozens of local casino's. Once every year or two we get a WSOP "circuit ring event" and that attracts major attention... a local casino also had a wpt event, but the buy-in was to crazy for me to join. i play recreationally and to supplement income. i lost my fulltilt, pokerstars, and bodog accounts. Smiley Sad my preffered game is omaha 8, but everyone i know likes hold'em. I'm BIG on playing the ponies!
