Re: Tribute/ Goodbye Glasswalls

Just goes to prove it that Home is indeed coming to an End!

But look like it's end is closer than we thought!   OHNO!

SHAME on SONY for making us HOMEless by Closing our PS HOME!

Just because GlassWalls left his job doesn't mean Home will come to an end, DCS. Home still has a few years left on the PS3 as long as production for the console is still running.

I never had the honor to meet GlassWalls/Cade, but good luck in whatever and wherever life takes you. I know it is a hard job to please all of us, but you did what you could to make us happy. My son back in 2009 showed me Home and at first wasn't sure what it was.  But as time went on I started loving it, have met a lot of nice people and made a lot of friends.  You keeping us updated on what to expect in Home on the blog was always a big help and on the forums as well.

Never saw this coming and who would have thought that on the 5th of June was to be your last blog Smiley Sad Again Sir, I thank you, and may your travels take you to places of mystery and happiness, such as the ones Home has shown us!

And Rick this is neither the time nor place to put your negativity, so please stop!

I did not always agreed with Glass. I rarely agree with officials Smiley LOL

Without a doubt it is a lost for Sony.

I don't know much about the person, but he took time to reply to the few message I sent him. Precise and honest answer.

Good luck and enjoy the world.

Well i am shocked but not suprised to see him calling it quits, im sure he will move forward and always have a piece of Home in his back pocket..or his PS3 lol

I have encountered Glasswalls one on one only once at a PS Talent Event at the old Home theater (he was in costume but later put on his work clothes). The other time i noticed him on Home was at Central Plaza during one of the promtional Events they had (too long ago cant recall the event) but nobody seemed to of noticed him even with his colored hair lol

Farewell Sir Glasswalls best of Luck to what ever you do.

I won't lose any sleep over this, been asking for job long time

He's probably happy, he's moving on! He's probably celebrating that he's leaving.

This is very saddening news, since I've had the liberty of meeting him on more than one occasion.

I do wish Cade the best in his future endeavors, I'm sure he'll find a place of happiness outside of Sony.

My times with Cade were more so random, than planned. My first actual time meeting him, was back in 2010.

It was the Top Gun event, on Playstation Home. It just happened to be my first legitimate event, I had ever went to on Home.

I can remember Cade staying hidden for quite a bit, but his name was all over the chat log. I remember him being so friendly, that you just couldn't ignore the fact he actually cared about his community of Home users.

But my most awesome moment with Cade, would have to be from this years Valentines events at the Pier Park.

I just had purchased the Q Two Alien costume, so I was wearing it around the pier that day. Just so happens, Cade happened to be there wanting to play the game himself.

Of course, getting as much attention as you couldn't believe. I didn't think I'd have a chance to actually get his attention, so I locally stated.. "You must kiss the alien, Glass."

Not really thinking much about it, a few minutes later, I received a kiss game invite from none other than Glass himself. It may sound silly to most people, but the fact he actually didn't ignore me, and gave me my request felt pretty awesome.

I know a lot of us will miss Cade, even if you didn't really know him, you can read through this thread and just understand why many of us liked him.
