Re: Tips for Grinding Operation Defend Edo

I find the weapon pretty nice, yea is not much damage as the rod, thou its quick and I can kill a red befre he charges me, it does have less defence which can get you killed if not careful, thou I see the benefit to the weapon as it does give you more points at the end and can be done fast.

here is a vid run I did earlier for those curious on how it is

FYI. I got my old points back from the leaderboard that I couldn't add any current points, but all the extra points I accumulated during the week, didn't get added on. Basically, it's as if I took a week vacation from playing. I wish those of us who got screwed out of contention during the week long point glitch would at least get some kind of compensation.

As for the new weapon, I like them. It's has a fast swing, but does take some time to clear the stage. I do like the movements and attacks. The charge attack seems to count for 3 regular attacks. The demon armor is bad @$$! I totally dig it. I wish I would have known this was coming or I wouldn't have bought that other armor.

Ok. After a couple sessions with the halberd, I can confirm that you can go just as fast through the game with the halberd as with the club. I can clear the game with just over 5 five minutes with the demon armor minus the helmet (I don't like helmets) and the halberd. That's about the same time as with the club with the other armor, again helmet less.

I guess it's bad then that they did not fix the points glitch. Makes me wonder if I should continue even trying, well I will, but if I dont get points added I'm just done DX

Is this grinding operation anything like the bump and grind?

The points are adding, but I am basically starting about 150 ranks behind from where I left off.

No. Since the points weren't adding to the leaderboard, everyone else was gaining and pushing my old point total behind them. My point total was moved back about 150 ranks.

Also, the max points one can get with the halberd after one session is 743 after fighting 2 red ogres as opposed to 660 with the club.

Hmm...I might just get the halbred, im using the metal black rod now and even though I can get the mission done in about 5 minutes, the club is sooo slow DX
