Re: Tips for Grinding Operation Defend Edo

I was so tired at the end last night. One time I killed the 2nd Yellow and forgot to run to the exit! I just stood there in the center, half falling asleep.

But I finally remembered I was still playing the game. I looked up and the timer also broke, frozen at around 73 seconds and wasn't counting down. So I was good. Smiley Happy

;^) Well, as expected, I've been bumped out of the top fifty, but frustratingly, only by a little bit. I'm rank fifty-two. About 5,400 points difference. Ah, well. I have the whole kitty outfit for top hundred, which was my real goal. Aiming higher was just for insurance....

Congrats to Ren_Echo for making rank fifty even. Good work, man!

Thanks Danger_Dad! I admit I got a little discouraged for a while that night and stopped playing but I eventually went back and somehow slipped in at the last minute.  Its unfortunate you had to work that night as I know how much time you put into this and had you been able to play I'm sure you would have been able to maintain your position on the leaderboard.

Congrats to you too! I mean when I first started out..I was doing well but when the points stopped adding I gave up. I guess that was a dumb decision because It made me end in below the Top 100 by just a few points (I believe my rank was 96). Well having half the outfit is better than having none of it. Congrats that you made it! Smiley Happy

The fact some of you didn't quite meet the mark and are still here congratulating those who did says more about your character than anything else. You people are cool and your perseverance is something that cannot be matched by any mere item server exploit. Heart

Also, after grinding the last week, regular Edo feels like a cakewalk. Lol.

I wonder how hard the rod/naginata WRECKS the normal level now, what with only the one red ogre. Rod might have difficulty with lanterns, but other than that...

A very (very) basic LBP level... by me. http://lbp.me/v/pj9eqq

It actually takes 2 strikes to kill the starving demon & 3 to kill the umbrella. Just 1 for the lantern. The original cyclops takes more strikes to kill him than the yellow ogre. It probably takes multiple strikes to kill these weaker beings because they aren't demons, I guess.
