The Future ... The End

RIP PS Home

With the recent renewal of the Terms of Service Agreement and the launch of PS4 we can no longer hide behind our dreams and stubborn denial of the sad truth that PS Home is doomed to extinction.

The Terms of Service Agreement gave us a not-too-subtle hint that Home, and everything we ever purchased on Home, was ephemeral and subject to sudden discontinuance or deletion.

If that isn't warning enough, then the glaring absence of Home on the PS4 console is the proverbial "proof in the pudding".

In spite of the recent explosion of new, and innovative PS Home content by notable developers, Home seems to have been doomed to an early extinction. It would also seem that we Home Fans are a gullible and naive bunch. Smiley Wink For in spite of all the portents, we continued to hope, and play, and financially invest in the empty air to come.

Still, it was fun!

Some people will use all their savings traveling in the real world, only to spend most of their time sitting by the hotel pool.

At least it can never be said that we squandered our time or even our money in the virtual world. We played that sim environment to the hilt! We spent our money, bought apartments and turned them into real world-like environments to explore, as they never could be in real life.

We even visited a few exotic and alien worlds.

We made friends. We created imaginative and exciting events that weren't limited by the laws of physics.

It will be a sad day when we have to leave Home for the last time. Like a child moving out of the family home, we will be confronted with many emotions.

As we deal with what the future brings and look back on the golden days of PS Home, let us remember with nostalgia that we were lucky to have had the experience.

Thanks to all my friends for helping to build a great three year long adventure vacation in the virtual universe of PS Home.

Interesting banner you got there!

The RIP on the Plus sign doesn't really go with the topic though...

Thank god I only used Home on one account! I spent about $300 on Home's virtual products, in total.. not too bad compared to some. (Probably had to do with me only using the male avatar which didnt have that much stuff to choose from, clothing-wise) I never bought furniture and only bought like 2 or 3 personal spaces.. Whew...

I'd be kicking myself right now if I used Home on more than one account!Smiley Very Happy

Doomsday is upon us.
The apocalypse and the four horsemen will soon make their presence known.
Then all our investments will be of no matter.
Nor anything and all will be of no value, Service or even sight.
As nothing will be as before.
Prepare for the apocalypse. Doom awaits.
Greatness awaits. But in the form of ones salvation.

Is that what u come to expect..?
For me To make rhymes out of my paragraphs. ..??

U want a rhyme i'll give u one.

Savage, savage..
Lives on home on average.
Gets up early and plays home daily
Now what about her real life..? Its beyond crazy.
She cries for attention. Cries to be seen..
But did u know shes the queen of mean.
Queen u say..? Well let me tell you..
One spell of hers and shes bound to turn you.
Into what u say..
Well every dog has his day.
But the queen of mean is quick to foray.
She nags and whines.
She thinks shes divine.
But little does she know...
Shes got no flavor like week old wine.
Bitter old women get no love. Or even the slightest touch.
No wonder why shes on home so much.

Enjoy.
