Well I still haven't figured out what time the new chips show up each day.  It's not at 4pm PST (7pm EST) or even 12 midnight PST.  Interesting.  Maybe DL doesn't want us to mob the space and crash it at the changeover time.

Yes! You'll get 50 free chips each day this week, starting today for the next 7 days! This promotion is taking the 100 chips promotions place - because 350 is way better than 100!

Thanks for the promo!

350 still doesn't get me into poker

No, but it gets you there 3 weeks faster than the 100 chips a week freebie...With enough left over chips for a few pulls on the slot machines.

My POV: Enjoy YOUR Home experience, without forcing it on those around you.
RESPECT is FREE. You will get what you give.

Re: The Casino - 50 Chips-A-Day Giveaway!

Kindof off topic, but just a thought...

I've heard the suggestion of having a free-play poker table, but Home already has various free poker options and I find people don't really play seriously or reliably for free.  So strangely enough, I feel great paying to play - even when it's not gonna refil my PSN wallet after all's said and done.

But there might be room for some adjustments.  The poker room always has dwindling tables, and at the wrong time of the day it can be pretty hard to find a full table match - I've spent an hour or two a few times trying to find 1 full game.  If you were to set one of the platforms up for 'low stakes' play, maybe 100 chips, and keep the other side at the usual 500 - I think it would get more players filling the room (thus creating flowover to our loved 500 tables) and would give regulars another option when we can't afford to play with the big girls.  Poker is one of those games, an older PS Home poker room had us regulars in there every day. Not being able to afford to play for a few days can break that social cycle, and someone might move on.

With the free 100 chips a week, people could get the chance to play the star game (of any) casino and slap more feet on the ground - which is what players AND management BOTH want. My free 100 chips have all to often been being fired lazily into the slots for a wekly 45 second visit. Sitting around for a poker game would keep us around longer, peak our interests in the other games and generally get people comfortable just coming to hang out on our daily Home schedules.

Also, I think a table or two for Poker in the Concourse might set the pace.  As the entry point to the casino and it's hub it should be a buzzing hive of social activity, where people can adventure off to the various realms of your more nuanced and intimate games.  These could be the lowball tables even, as they'd be the busiest and most frivolous - which is best for a social area.

I'm getting my $$$ together for the $20 deal myself, but in between I have no reason to stop in for more than my 45 secs a week at the slots (time well spent -  I love the slots, and you have my favorite Lucky 7's game).

Cool!!  Thanks for the extra free chips! Are we getting 50 free chips for the next 7 days or when does this promotion end? And are we still getting the 100 free weekly chips along with this or is the daily bonus taking its place this week?

Yes! You'll get 50 free chips each day this week, starting today for the next 7 days! This promotion is taking the 100 chips promotions place - because 350 is way better than 100!

And as an added "bonus", they've stacked the odds against you so you're 70% less likely to win anything from those free chips. Hurray!!

Somebody stop this developer, they are getting out of hand.

They keep this up, they won't make any money.

I kid.

Actually, this is really cool, and realistic when you think about it.  It makes you feel like a high roller in a casino.

So far we have gotten comped a free room, and we keep getting comped some chips.  Just like a real casino.  Now if we just got free drinks while we were playing, it would be just like Vegas.  That or comped free tickets to a show.

OHHHHHH.  That gives me an idea.  Digital Leisure Please listen to this, this would be cool.  You could actually comp people with a show, in a way.  And this would fit in with people's desire for being rewarded for spending Money on Home.

At the Discretion of Digital Leisure, they could give users who they believe have bought a lot of chips or won a lot of chips, a redemption code for use on the Playstation Video store.  This redemption code would entitle the user to one free Video Rental.

Get it.  The Casino would be comping someone a ticket to a show.

I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult for Digital Leisure to work something out with Sony to setup these redemption codes.  And I'm not saying it would have to be an everyday occurrence, but the knowledge would be there that it could happen.  Just like it is at a casino.

It would go even further in selling the virtual Casino feel, and would help to draw in the crowd.  And what is a video Rental?  Like $5, once in a while.  Pretty cheap marketing gig, to keep people coming back to your tables.

Plus there is just something kinda cool about saying, The Casino is so realistic, they even comp you tickets to a show.

Dam, I like it.

.
