Plz chk thread!
It would be helpful if you were to make your own club thread with all the info on the OP. It is hard to find info in the middle of a thread. Sorry, that is why i didn't have the posting on the calendar correct for this week.
Anamri: i had no idea of a calendar or was'nt even aware that my postings regarding club from activity board were being included in this manner. Awesome thanks. Here i thought i was the only one advertising...
As i know this thread can be a lilttle confusing for deco club, it has become clubs official thread. And maybe with clubs growth in the future maybe more clubs may be included since it is an open club. Ofcourse the official club being mine. Thx.
Ofcourse the official club being mine
LOL...The official club. If anyone reads this thread from the start, you can clearly see that this whole idea was mine. I was the first one to buy clubhouses to use for this purpose. The funny part is, if you keep reading, you can see how my idea was hijacked.
The one person who totally into the idea didn't like my club name and decided to buy and name their own. Ok, I let it go for awhile to see what would happen. I went from being a cofounder and sub leader in the clubhouse to just another member. Funny how things work when one person decides to make themselves king and take total control.
So, I am "officially" LOL, out of this whole thing. It's kind of sad when something that you wanted to do because of a passion becomes some power hungry look at me club. This person could care less about anyone else's spaces, and it's so obvious every week. This could of, and should been fun. Unfortunately it's just a say something nice and pat me on the back club.
Dang, I just found this thread, and was ready to see what needed to be done so I could tour the spaces. I only have a few spaces, but have been working like crazy to make them look nice enough to tour, even though I'm really inexperienced on Home re: adding/inviting friends, etc.
I've always wanted to tour spaces and get ideas, but I usually just "lurk" rooms. I am never rude or offensive, but I'm also not one of those people that just walks up and talks to strangers. I don't have a keyboard and this also seems to put people off, but I'm decent with the keypad entry, and don't type in unintelligible emotes or leetspeak.
Since I only have a few spaces, I am reluctant to joining a club, although I'm slightly proud of my work... LOL I really can't join a club anyway, since my schedule is wonky, but I'm always up for making friends and trading tips on Home when I'm on.
I do have the LOOT space apt., and both of the Casino spaces. And also the Batman Cave.Hell, I've even taken to decorating my Darla's Den just for fun.
CMC, are you still giving tours of your decorating work? Or are you just out of the game altogether? I'm always looking to get ideas, and share any tips that I might have, even though I'm new to the decorating scene.
I'll try to find one of the meetings as well, as I'd love to see what people are doing, as well as scout future space buys. I esp. like futuristic, active spaces. I've been looking at the TRON, and Novus Prime ones for a while now, but would like to tour them first.
I do have specific questions about certain spaces, but I'll wait and see if I receive a reply.
Thanks for reading!

LOL funny thing is i happened to meet this individual today and everything you said in your post is exactly what i saw and felt in the 45 minutes i spent with him.
He went on about Pro this and Pro that and how he so desperatly seeks the spotlight for his club, and how he is gods gift to psh deco.
I too got the impression that he didn't care about anyone's deco but his own just by the way he found the silliest things to critisize, is that lamp on, this room is too dark, this place is too big to showcase, blah blah blah LOL.
After seeing a few of his spots he finally invites me to his nightlife lounge which i must say it was nice but not as impressive as he hyped it up to be.
The santa chair dining area made me LOL, not to mention the palm trees that were growing out of the marble floor.
The zebra rugs and cow sofas were a sight to see with the horseless cinderella carriage parked next to the runway.
The lip sofas and chairs were very nice, but i was not impressed since the 2 previous spaces he showed me both had the same lip sofa/chair set up.
It was sad to see such a elegent place made to look so silly and cartoonie.
I guess my idea of great deco differs from his, or as he called it PRO deco lol.
It was enough for me to say i've seen enough thanks for your time but i'm no longer interested in joining this club.
I reached out to this guy because i was under the impression this was a club for all who enjoyed deco.
A club to display your layouts and admire each others work as well as share tips and help others with their creativity.
Boy was i wrong.
If you are looking for a place to pat yourself in the back and fill that empty hole in your life then this is the club for you.
Don't get me wrong this guy is very talented and has some very good ideas and styles.
It was his need to be praised and his i am the best there is attitude that really turned me off to the whole idea.
