Re: Spend $100 Promo Home Too?

Oct 9, 2012

Just to drop the official confirmation in here. Yes, Home purchases count toward the $100 spend. And no, they don't stack, so $200 wont open a next level or anything. It's just straight up: "Spend $100, get $20 back in your wallet".

You'll get the $20 credit in November, and it will expire sometime in December.  You'll have about a month to use it.  Also, if you pre-ordered any of the Day 1 Digital stuff in September, for an October release, that will count toward your $100 as well.

Enjoy!

The Ps store mentions if you spend $100 in October, you will receive $20 back in November. I am wondering if this extends to purchases made in Home. Anybody know?

They had this last year too.  All I bought last October was Halloween stuff for Home.  No PSN games or DLC.  I still got the $20 for spending $100 on Home.

Whether that means you can do that this year, I'm not sure, but Home content counted last year.

Thanks to nDreams and the new Xi, my PS3 froze during Xi's download process and put me in a perpetual loop of file restorations every time I start up my PS3. I can no longer play Playstation Home or any of my PS3 games. 600+ dollars spent on Home content, down the ****ing drain. I'm done with Playstation Home, I'm done with Sony, and I'm done with this site, as my current PS3 situation no longer warrants my being here. Bye everyone.

Home stuff does count, Max. Tempest_Fire posted about it and confirmed it.

I'm sorry to muddy the water again after thread recieved an official answer, but does SONY consider loading $100 into my wallet, $100 spent? ('Cause I sure as h*ll do, LOL)

I expect to load around $150 into my wallet this month... whether I actually burn through 2/3's of it is not as certain...

I think money loaded into my wallet is technically "spent." The same way a $100 gift certificate at Best Buy is $100 spent when it's purchased (or loaded).

??

***** Thanks to @smokingpistol for bringing this to light - otherwise I may not have even known about it... *****

Yo, any idea how long it will take Sony to turn around and send the credit through?

Also, does that deal apply to any PSN accounts, e.g. US, Europe, etc? I ask as I've noticed in the past European PSN has often had sales that US has missed out on.

Thanks!
