Why can't Sony do anything about the folks that are interrupting game play by hacking into the Bowling Alley's  Pool Table games and basically hijacking your game.

On three occasions I've seen it done. Two methods 1) they stand beside the table you are playing and join the play, taking over the cue ball some how. 2) while playing they on purposely scratch and with some hack mess up the cue ball and again hijack the game.

Heaven forbid if you ask them politely about their exploits you find yourself denied all internet service and you at your router and modem resetting everything. Isn't Sony partially responsible for denial of internet service? Is there not State and Federal laws against such acts.

All the Bowling Ally developers have to do is stand around the pool tables on a Friday, Saturday evening or Sunday afternoons and watch what's going on, it's very obvious on who's doing what..

Some nights the space is complete controlled by these people and you have to walk around on egg shells so your don't get frozen and bumped off the net.

I spend most of time either playing Poker or Pool... At least Digital Leisure has some supervision and presents in their space.

(rightfully so!)

Names have been changed to protect the innocent..lol

How soon we forget Candy. Jimmynet, Conrad, myself and others reported these issues over a year ago when the changes to pool were implemented. The tables have glitched terribly since that time. Here's a couple threads that were written around that time detailing the issues not only with the change to gameplay mechanices, but the glitches as well:

http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Home/Why-fix-that-which-is-not-broken-pool-tables...

http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Home-Support/v-1-65-Bowling-Alley-Pool-Issue-Disc...

I don't know if you just don't remember, or you hadn't experienced these glitches until recently, but after others mentioned problems, you had stated:

"I've been playing the new tables... and they're fine.. just the animations are a little off. In fact I like them better..Just Myalana and Wetjet are like junk yard dogs with an old bone..."

and:

"I concur with the recent remarks of above.. but I was a sniveling whiner also about the changes until I played a half dozen games and all was right with the world again..

Some people are just afraid of losing their Pool Hall status, Buck-up and practice...lol"

TC915 held a pool tournament some weeks ago and there were issues with the glitches then also. J_W eventually locked the support thread about the pool issues and PMd me that the people who worked on the redesigned pool tables have moved on to other projects. The issues are not caused by others as they are experienced even in completely empty servers. They are just glitches that probably will not be fixed.

I was under the the impression these were little bumps in the Developers programming..But I have seen at least three times a bug/hack..whatever ...being used on purpose by some individuals to interrupt game play... And any reporting or comment directed at these people ends up with you being bumped off the internet.....Nothing to do with past physics and past whining...

Can you describe this glitch? Thus far what you mentioned is in line with one of about 3 glitches that have been present in the pool game since the redesign that occurred in April of 2012. As far as past physics or whining, I realize you saw the pool game with nothing but rose colored glasses in the past, I'm sorry you are finally experiencing what myself and others discovered some 15 months ago. Perhaps the game is glitching due to a poor connection and thus you being bumped is not a malicious act but rather a symptom of this.

Not a single person here said they shouldn't fix the problem.

Yes, People have to glitch and do things to find these issues, but is it really nessesary for people that have done a glitch once to do it over and over and over again? NO

You said you Told EVERYONE about ISE, did you ever consider just telling sony and shutting your trap so they could fix it while the problem was still manageable or did you really find it necessary to tell every single person you could, so they could go try it for themselves ( which certainly doesn't help sony as a beta tester )

King, idk if you've ever put out a fire, but when it's small, a single person can put it out, when it gets out of control, it can take a very long time to put out or it can even burn the place down. That is where we are at on home. Sony knows of the problem and they either CAN'T put out the fire, or , it'll cost too much money to try and put out. Either way, they already know of it, so there's no need as a beta tester ( your job ) to continue to do it. End of story

I should also explain, this is all a generalization and not aimed at you because I already know that was going to be one of your arguments back at me. Before you actually respond, how about you READ this and think about it for a few minutes lol

Let me make this easyer for you to understand.  In a fair and just world you would be 100% right (if that makes you feel better) But Home is a Open Beta in OB's you are asked to find bugs, gliches and exploits and report them back to the developer.  The fact that Sony is asking us to do just that and the directions on how to do these gliches are right there makes it very easy for people to do just that.

You "hellokittyxo" seem to have a hard time seeing Home as a beta and instead see it as a finshed program.  As I said up top if it was a fished program these glichers would be punished.  But, the OP's question is why is Sony not doing anything?  My bet is the OP is seeing the same person do the same thing over and over again and no matter how many times they report this person nothing is ever done.

I never told anyone how to do ISE I just said that the mini games in Home are killing Home and could oppen up back doors latter on down the road.  I know and understand how items are saved in Home and I knew how it could be exploited.  Sony's job is to make money and I saw then that they where going at one point try to make money on there mini games.  My job was never to convine Sony but convine everyone else that these mini games and maken Home into a Game was a bad idea.  Sadly know I see no fix to ISE other then doing away with all game rewards.

As for this glich?  I don't see it to be an impossible bug to fix.  I can think of a few ways to fix it and if they don't work Sony would just have to redesign the pool table to make it work.  Over in the casino I have not seen people on the poker/blackjack/21/roulette tables in some time.  If they can get it to work over there then of course it's possible for pool tables.  The problem is pool tables don't make Sony money.

Stop defending Sony and see things for how they really are.

I do agree with what you are saying but here is my question. I have played in quite a few open betas, yes you are meant to find all of those bugs and glitches. However you are not supposed to exploit them, if i saw somebody at the pool tables standing next to me glitch it out then disapear and never see them again. I would be ok with that. But when the same people are repeatedly doing it over and over to either be malicious or give themself an advantage that is not part of being a beta tester. I completely agree though sony is doing a very poor job of maintaining there games quality that we used to see years back.

Just to go on the record...  I do not glich, I do not tell people to glich and I do not encourage people to exploit or glich to interfere game play.

But, to answer your question koolkarl1 the OP clearly asked why "Sony" is not doing anything about it.  I think it's a very good and fair question to ask.

I've seen a person interfere with game play using a glich I've seen a few people report the person (that did next to nothing) and the very next day same person doing the same thing.  Why did Sony do nothing about this?  That is what the OP is asking.
