Tired of all these negative comments by people who are convinced Home is "dying" but yet feel the need to spend their time preaching to all the "unwashed masses" on why Home is dying. Seriously, don't you people have better things to do? Like fraggin bro's in COD son? Leave all us "losers" to our "dying" virtual world and get back to your next gen FPS fest plz  k thx bye."

Technically, Home is dead right now, Tara. But that's neither here nor there. You wanna find out how ALIVE Home is? Compare Home's content and fiscal revenue (if you can even manage to find those numbers) to that of Second Life. Compare it to successful MMO's like WoW or even FFXIV, who just recently pulled in a whopping 1.5 million users. Compare Home to the 7 year old tech that is the PS3 with a mere 512MB, that is apparently limiting Home developers and the Home staff with the ability to smash thru the ceiling and do things, currently only dreamed of, on PS4.

The only thing keeping Home alive, at this point...are the developers...and the people who buy from them. And how long will that sustain Home, exactly?

I don't care how well it's performing compared to MMO's, period. It's irrelevant as those are games that basically require you to play and put effort into.

I also don't care how well it's  performing compared to other virtual worlds like Second Life. All I care about is that it's performing well enough to be kept alive, because I have tried the other virtual worlds, and they suck, especially the graphics.

Tempest confirmed it's producing more revenue then ever, devs are producing content at a steady rate, and unless a highly improved version of Home comes out on PS4, I'd say it's enough to keep Home alive on PS3 for a few more years at least, since as far as virtual worlds go, there isn't an alternative nearly as good.
