17 replies 5 views Edited May 9, 2007
I was browsing and found this, at first I thought it was remote play, but the I realized that the icons are not the ones on the PS3 but the PSP XMB

Cheers.

That's the in-game PSP that your character uses to control the options in Home.

How is that possible, is that European?
I just tried google and I got nothing, is there some beta announcment that everyone missed out on?
Or did sony just not announce home beta for psp and emailed a few people asking them to partake?

No it's not, they don't have battery life, time display, internet icon, and game icon on the Home PSP.

Nice! thank you for the explanation, it looks very real, nice graphics.

But what you do with the other icons inside home?

Ah you're right, I couldn't really see that it was an actual PSP in the second video (which was the only one I watched until you posted). It looks like some sort of Remote Play function being run through the PSP. Not sure what to make of it, exactly.

Just to expand on the actual PSP portion of HOME.......

Q: Is Home a PS3 specific service? Will users be able to access Home
through other devices?

A:  Initially Home will only be accessible via that PLAYSTATION®3, although
over time our intention is to enable users to interface certain Home features
and services via other networked devices such as PlayStation®Portable
(PSP®) and mobile phones.
