I have thought about it. Seriously we complain constantly that we don't get real game content and when we finally get it we aren't happy? I really don't see the PS4 E3 being about Home developers. It's about real games and should be.

We still have tons of Homed content each week.

I would say yes, as one can hope the virtual E3 is attracting some new users who might be encouraged to explore outside of the E3 Booth by checking out Home Dev booths and getting rewards related to other spaces in Home, even boosters for dif Home games like Aurora Goggles, Novus Prime XP, Casino Chips, so as to give them an incentive to spend more time in Home to check them out.

That said, it's too bad Sony doesn't have more real game content like they used to - as that also helped bring in new users to Home, especially in-game Home rewards that encouraged those that unlocked those Home rewards to log into Home to check out what they got.

It's just a sad state of affairs. Smiley Sad

The E3 booth is large and packed with content. Where is the room for all the Home developers? I don't see the need for it really. I think this is refreshing.

I do understand what you are saying, but Home (and its devs) desperately need promotion to bring in new users.  They could easily have added booths for Home devs as they did last year, with rewards that encourage new users to explore those spaces in Home (as they did last year).

I guess what I am saying is, as its so large there should have been room for both real game content and Home content if for no other reason than to grab the attention of new users only logging in to see the virtual booth.

For the same reason, in-game Home rewards brought in new users, as did real game events in Home - sadly these effective forms of promoting Home have largely disappeared.

Last year there was just as much PS3/Vita content.

It was one long, wide room. The ads for games by Home developers were upstairs.

It should be obvious to everyone why there aren't any this year.

You're right. Maybe we are asking too fast for Home to be announced on PS4.

Digital Leisure was the only dev with anything big to show this year. because there aren't a bunch to show would be my guess.

The sky fall yet or should we just quite now?

You will see and hear things all this week and no matter what you hear good or bad Home will still be here next week. Promise.  Peace.

No it's not obvious. This is a console release year and games are the focus. I don't agree that Home developers needed to be there. We have tons of their content each and every week.

The sad thing is, even on here no one wants to be positive at home, I have not read statements about people not wanting home removed, not too many that is --- most everything has been people stating that it will be taken away giving Sony a view that no one likes it anyways

Unfortunately, it does not matter what people say, want or think. If Sony thinks that Home is an Intrigle cog in a good business model, i.e. enough profit and also shines a good light on there overall image, then I suspect they would plan to keep it around.   Smiley Wink

BTW. Home does not hurt people that don't use it, so if someone tells you it needs to go, then they need to go.   Smiley Happy

Au revoir.
