New home hold'em space (poker) update?

44 replies 281 views Edited May 8, 2012

So what are they going to do, are they going to wipe out the leaderboards and all the chips so we get a fresh clean start, will it be a new space completely.  will the glitches be fixed.   kind of concerned here because I love playing poker but this space sure got messed up and they really didn't do a darn thing to fix it.  So what's the home hold'em season 2 going to fix and feature>?

Only Sony knows, and at present they are not saying.

We'll find out when the changes occur.

I can tell you this: The rewards are changing. That was in the blog. Other changes are coming that should make some in the community very happy. Hopefully some of the technical issues get sorted out as well.

I hope they will add tournament style tables! I don't really like how games never end right now...

Yes! I want the blinds to raise, and keep getting more expensive.

I loved the EA style of play. Sure one couldn't join a game in progress but having a clear winner was fun. I suppose they have this over at the Casino but it is pay to play.

You've never been there? I recommend trying it once. If you don't like casino poker, then you're not a poker player.

Pay to play is what makes it exciting. Nothing like the rush of a 2800 chip buy-in in the VIP area

I've been there. It's the closest to the tournament style poker they had over at EA. I'm not big personally on pay to play venues but I do have about 6000 chips and really just need to make more time to play.

Seems back when that was all I did was live over at the EA Complex.

Yeah I love the Poker @ Casino and the fact chips are more precious make people think twice before they go all-in or make stupid bets. Only problem I'm broke (no more chips) and don't want to keep spending $$ on it.

Having a clear winner makes the whole game much more exciting I think.. at least to me.

I hate the poker at the casino because it punishes waiting and relies more on bluffing. It encourages you to play risky hands just so you have a chance of winning before the steadily rising blinds eliminate you.
