My vital view on the PlayStation Home.

47 replies 589 views Edited Nov 15, 2013

                              Ladies and gents..

  I want to explain why i didn't purchase a PS4

Well lastnight i was at WalMart ..

The People was purchasing every PS4.

                   i had my $700 [ in cash ]

Then i was upset when i got to the cashier

i had the PlayStation 4 on the counter..

Then I looked around at » all the greedy peoples faces..

Then it dawned on me.. that these individuals do not care about nobody on PlayStation Home.

if I was to purchase the PlayStation 4, it would of proved

that I agree with »  The Sony board of directors tactics.

You see.. if I was to purchase one, that means I agree with PlayStation Home and all the developers losing their jobs.

aswell the entire Home community losing its prime vital source of communication and entertainment.

So.. in conclusion I had walked away..  Leaving the PS4 with the lakewood, colorado Walmart employee.

The others started whispering and some even giggled until I had flashed the $700 in cash and laughed all the way straight to my Toyota Camry.

The Flying Grayson, Nightwing, Robin, They were about more than fight moves. They were about inspiration, comfort, trust, family. I gave that up to become a spy. a Spider man; A Tsuchigumo. I have changed.
But I'll Always be D. Grayson

Home is going to end one day anyway, regardless if you buy a PS4 or not.
I really don't understand why some people use Home as a main focal point to get a PS4...

If you're using Home as a make or break whether to buy a PS4 or not then shame on you. The console has so much more to offer besides a clunky going on 5 year beta program that has no direction and isn't going anywhere.

If you're serious about games then go buy one. If not then go back to the PS3

^Chad I love you man but I dont see it that way. Look at the 100s of 1000s of posts here in the Home forums, Home has meant much to many for a long time. At one time being a Home gamer meant you were on top of the releases knew all the info on new products and were informed on where Sony was headed what they were doing. At one time it was for people who were serious about games. Look at all that has been built here over the last five years. Its hard to just drop the PS3. Its been out for close to ten years now and Home for five. In fact dropping the PS3 and just grabbing a PS4 is what Sony does expect and want of us but I know I have no need for one..yet. I have literally hundreds of PS3 games lots of friends that use Home as well still. I wont be dropping it anytime soon. I may pick up a PS4 before Christmas but I dont see it as one or the other. They are both valuable machines. Sorry for the rant.

Totally agree with Chadzilla on this one. That story about being at the counter and then changing your mind because people don't care about Home is pretty farfetched and downright ridiculous. Sony's doing the best thing possible by leaving Home to rot on the PS3, it doesn't need to bring it's dirty laundry with it into the next gen.

Instead of complaining about the PS4, just bear in mind that you rabid Home diehards are saving $400. Well, until you blow it on virtual crap.
