Well this is a matter i feel strongly on and i'm not going to just sit here and not say anything about it. I'm going to complain until something is done. If it takes years so be it.

Done on what?  As I said Sony is not going to start banning people over this and Sony will never take items away from anyone.  With that said what do you want done?  No rules where broken and all this is an embarrassment for Sony for letting it happen in the first place.

I also find it very unlikely that this will ever stop.  If you been with Home from day one you would see that people have always found way's to do things and get things in Home by glitching, Hacking or using exploits.

Anyone reporting for this is ironically risking their own account for abusing the report system. There is no reason "hack" and even reporting for glitch actually has to be during scenarios of game disruption.

PS Home is a 3D Chatroom social network, therefor their main concern is to give violations for verbal harassment, sexual harassment, and maybe scams via gamesharing. Meanwhile, those reporting and pointing the finger at people are doing another form of harassment <3  Hating people and acting like wannabe sony officials is a clear risk to your accounts and not worth the effort.

Sony has been aware of this issue FOR YEARS, yet people log in daily with them without consequences.. Why? BECAUSE THEY ARE  REWARDS THAT WERE INTENDED TO BE FREE ANYWAYS (regardless if a couple of the games cost money, youre paying for the gameplay and technically not the reward! The items are still just a BONUS in that scenario, and in most other cases the games that unlock them have entirely free origin)

Also, people exagerate the significance of these HATER THREADS..  There could be 100 pages entirely of haters, but it would still be a drop of sand compared to the millions that use the service. Some of you overhype these threads as if it represents what "everyone" is saying, meanwhile its just a handful of pre-teens and people repeating on alt accounts, lol

Think about it logically, if people are so dedicated that they are willing to exploit virtual gear, then Sony can clearly see it as a compliment and testiment that the service is loved and collection desired. They are not motivated to mass ban a large population of people that clearly are dedicated to the network and couple that with social skills to avoid ban (unlike the fams and net daters which are the true virus of home!)

The point is, every time you shake your fist at strangers, you just make yourselves look pathetic. You all have a legit way to earn them, what others do doesnt affect that. Exploiting is simply an alternative method.

And remember these last words the next time you get an itch to report...  YOU WILL NEVER BE HAPPY IN LIFE IF YOU BASE YOUR HAPPINESS ON THE ACTIVITIES OF OTHERS. That is because there will always be someone somewhere doing something you choose not to do (or lack the intellect or courage to do)

Invisibility in pic below occured naturally during a random error within Home a couple years ago! Me and my friends shirts/pants appeared this way upon login.

What's a homeling?

Homelings have been around since the dawn of time (home beta) and have had legions of club members. great group.

i still remember my first encounter with them.

back during the closed beta to the far right side of the giant waterfall the a corner near the question mark poster. quite a frightening experience. Smiley Tongue

I had my 1st chance encounter with a Homeling back in closed beta as well. It was in the old version of central plaza and I remember thinking "what in the world is up with this guy dressing and talking like that". I wish I could recall the particular user in question. I do remember at least being impressed that the individual was well spoken and didn't try to "pick me up". The Homelings I've encountered have never been disruptive and always seem respectful and courteous.

Thanks for the warning Pipen. 8) I appreciate it. It won't change my actions in the least though. I'll continue to report anyone i see with ISE items. If i get banned then so be it. Not like you didn't warn me right?

I'm someone shocked that you didn't get a warning or a ban yet for filing false reports to the mods.

Re: Make them pay!

We have all the current issues after update 1.75 and yet people expend all this time and energy to fixate on this perceived problem? I'm afraid I don't get it. Why should I care what other people have legitimately when I can't find or use my own paid for content?

In the grand scheme of things, seeing someone with ISE'd content is about as concerning to me as is whether or not we'll see yet another developer produce their very own version of a minibike LMO. Look at the bigger picture and try to keep it in perspective. What does it matter if you can't even use the application as you should be able to?
