Loot EOD screens no longer 'fullscreen'

39 replies 603 views Edited Oct 12, 2013
This isn't really a support issue, but I used my portable EOD and the 'fullscreen' is no longer 'full'.

It doesn't appear to be an error as it look like it's now designed to be like this, but now when you enlarge the screen you can see all the border of the EOD and an inch or so of the wall it's mounted on or whatever's behind it.

I checked the built in ones at the HHH and they seem okay, but the portable EODs are now horrible to watch a movie on.

I've set up portable EODs in many of my apartments but this new style makes me not want to use them anyone.

Unless others prefer it like this, please could you put them back to as they were, so when on 'fullscreen' is does fill up the full screen. Thankyou Smiley Happy

It's always been that way. With smaller screens, you can still see the edge of the television, with the larger one, we get true full screen.

I just checked to make sure. They're still the same as always for me.

The way you play the game is the way you live your life.

I'm sure they weren't like they are now. You can now read the word 'Loot' at the bottom of the screen, and the 'power on' writing, as well as an inch or so of whatever's behind the EOD.

I like watching some of the Crackle movies, and watch most of then in my Casino Penthouse, but what I'm seeing now is totally different to what I saw last time I checked my EOD (I've been a bit pre-occupied so may be a few weeks since last looking), but I'm positive the 'fullscreen' was a 'full' screen, and not like it is now. The one in my Casino Penthouse is one of the large EODs.

My last input here. It's always been that way. If there is an issue with it, I'd let Loot become aware of it.

The built in EODs are as before, the portable ones are not.

Loot do read the Forums so hopefully they'll pick up on this, and hopefully put the portable ones back as they were.

Perhaps LOOT made the borders visible when full-screen so people can discern the type of portable tv they are looking at ..Like a regular, gold or platinum TV. But if that's the case that would make me upset because .. cmon, do people really care if they are looking at a gold or a diamond tv?..

What matters is the image the TV is showing, not what is broadcasting it.

That does make sense what your saying, and maybe this started when the newer ones came out. I just hope they put them back to as they were, it's very off putting now.

I think LOOT will reverse the TVs if enough people voice their concerns. And the sad thing is , I bet no one even bought the Gold or diamond TV.. :/

At the very least, LOOT could give users an option if they want to display the TV's borders or not.

I know the free TV's were like that. I haven't used my Loot TV's in a while and seem to remember while in fullscreen you saw only the picture.

I'll deficiently check that out tonight when I get on home.

Thanks for the heads up.Woman Happy

Thankyou, and thankyou Black_MagicWoman for remembering you did only see the picture when on fullscreen, at least I know I'm not going totally insane!

I'll try and Tweet them if I can, although never quite sure where any of my tweets end up when I use that.
