The Dragon's Lair II cabinet is sweet. It has the wide base with the center joystick and a big button on either side of it. Much like the old arcade did when it was new.
Problem is, Digital Leisure releases that cabinet along with several others and made it ACTIVE. So you can't actually have every arcade out in a single space, as you will go over the 4+12 limit.
I think the new full list is:
1. Fast Draw (active)
2. Space Ace (active)
3. Dedicated Space Ace
4. Dragon's Lair (active)
5. Dragon's Lair II (active)
6. Tekken Tag 2
7. Tekken 6
8. Data Hack - Conspiracy (no longer available)
9. Memory Hack - Conspiracy (no longer available)
10. Code Hack - Conspiracy (no longer available)
11. Scribble Shooter
13. Savage Cosmos
14. Dig Dug
15. Pac Man
17. Xevious Resurrection
19. Dragon Spirit
20. House of the Dead 3
22. Table Arcade (4-in-1 namco games)
23. Cabin Boy in Trout Trouble
24. Trigger Happy
Is the creator of that video available to come over to my place and play it for me?
That Xevious cabinet is one of the rarer items in Home. Dragon Spirit isn't common, but you'll see more of those than you will Xevious.
I'd be curious to know how many people actually have that cabinet. It's a total of one person on my maxed-out friends list.
The first Xevious cabinet is easier than the second, that's the one I need a video for. And the Dragon spirit cabinet.
I have that Xevious cabinet. It's actually not that hard to get. Just takes a few tries to find the location on the river where the flag is. It is always on the bottom row of the river, but seems to move from left to right. Both times ive found it, it has been on the far right, about 2 squares in.
Getting the flag in the full version doesn't get you the cabinet. You must do it in the Trial version.
I am down to 4 cabinets, soon to be 2 needed. Tekken Tag 2, Tekken 6, Dragon Spirit, and Xevious Res. Getting all the stamps in the full version of Namco Museum is gonna be a pain.
Sorry, I'm thinking of the Xevious Resurrection cabinet, which is a sit-down that you can see at the Namco Museum space. Those are the rare ones.
Dragon Spirit can be earned with a bit of luck. Getting through the first two areas actually isn't that tricky, it just takes practice to know when things will pop out and to defeat the bosses. Once you clear an area, you get the option to start at the higher levels of the game If you can make it to Area 3, you can collect all of the powerups needed to unlock the cabinet.
Dragon Spirit has a sort of neon effect on the cabinet sides. It's worth the work. It looks cool everywhere.
This reminds me. Why aren't Echochrome and Ice Breaker available for sale? It wouldn't take much, if any, effort to convert them to a purchasable item.
I hate Echochrome, but I'd still buy it.
Lord_Rinja is the only person I know who actually owns one. It's a very cool item. Some of those Xevious and Xevious Resurrection challenges are just way too much for me without sinking a lot of time into those games.
