With the introduction of wings, it would be nice to get some fantasy attire and wings that match!
Not to mention the Head dressings and jewelry to go with them.
Here are some examples:
If we took just five minutes, to recognize each others beauty, instead of attacking each other for our differences .............
Can we get some better cloths from back befor the hub was around for guys the stuff we have now it is crap not worth buying I thinks in the last month I think I only bought like 3 cloths from the store not a lot of good cloths to buy !!!!!!!!!!!
I think avatar customization needs to be improved.
First of all, add RGB color controls for skin color and eye color. BUT these should not be limited to just PSN Plus users. ALL users should be able to use RGB custom colors for their avatars. Your avatar's body is a BASIC feature of Home. And there should be more, not limited variety for basic users. Including Hair and makeup RGB custom colors. Of course Home wants $$$, so why not add a create a pathway for ALL users to have this. A one time fee for RGB color controls would work out well. Plus users get it for free, while the rest of us can pay for access to rgb for hair, skin and eyes.
Also, lets add more types of eyebrows!
More LMO hand held items so we can use the gloves we buy. Not everything should be an LMO. But more often lets use it. Especially weapons. Also add animation emotes for weapons, like that flame thrower. That was sweet!!
ACTIVE CLOTHING types : Full RGB color options
I suggest we expand clothing by allowing a NEW class of clothing that allows RGB color selection. It would be different than normal clothes, like active furniture is different than a simple chair.
Now this sounds like it may add too much memory. But it might not be much more. It depends how this is programmed in Home. Depending on how Home does it, your avatar data might just be the same sized texture map and mesh data, with no additional increase in memory size. Like how if you add one or a hundred image layers to a photoshop image, it won't increase the final jpeg image once you flatten it. Extra data would be used for wardrobe of course. But then after you exit wardrobe, your avatar's mesh model and texture map might be the same size it is now.
For Home users we might see controls in wardrobe like how DC Universe Online does it. You pick 3 basic colors to be your "color palate". Like say red, white and blue. Or any three colors of the millions of colors available.
Then each "active clothing" item has three color slots. The first slot might be the main color of a jacket. The second slot might be the trim of the lapels. The third might be for button color. Or so on... The developers would choose what parts of the clothing is used by one of these slots. But the developers has three slots available.
So we might first choose three colors like this for our avatar:
- color1 = #ff0000 (red)
- color2 = #f2f3f2 (white)
- color3 = #0091f4 (blue)
Then we assign those three colors to our clothing.
Active Hat Colors
- slot1 (main color) <= white
- slot2 (ribbon color) <= blue
- slot3 (feather color) <= white
Active Top Colors
- slot1 (jacket color) <= red
- slot2 (shirt color) <= white
- slot3 (button color) <= blue
Active Bottoms Colors
- slot1 (main color) <= red
- slot2 (belt color) <= red
- slot3 (unused) <= unused
Active Shoe Colors
- slot1 (main color) <= blue
- slot2 (shoelace color) <= white
- slot3 (unused) <= unused
the result might work something like this:
(photo from DCUO. Please remember that the avatars there are of lower resolution than Home. Home avatars would look much better. But RGB controls would give us a near infinite amount of color combos to choose from just like them! )
Many of our inventories are hopelessly cluttered. We seriously need more organization abilities. As others have said repeatedly.
This is my version of it.
Create two sections in Wardrobe and Furniture inventory menus. ONE general area for unsorted stuff. With new stuff appearing at the top with a star like it does now. Then create a custom folder section so users can create as many of their own folders at they want. Well, up to a large amount like a hundred or so. All the current folders like shirts, shoes, etc will be turned into a custom folder. We can add folders, delete folders (items become unsorted) or rename folders. And we can change folder order. That is we can put some folders on top, some on bottom. Or any place inbetween.
Because are inventories can be VERY large, it might be prudent to give each folder the ability to have sub-catagory folders. So we can have a Fancy clothes folders, and it it have a fancy shoes sub-folder, or fancy pants sub-folder.
And within each folder, items should be movable up and down the list. We should be able to move items and organize the folder.
