Locomotions have low load priority. Home will try loading everybody else before it loads your LMO.

dear jugg, i hope the disk was the first step to a planned game?....

just watch this video bout "enslaved" a GREAT game, mesestimed alas... I can say you than if u envisage to make a race game using hoverdisk  with friends (4 at max together, or 2 team 4vs4) with powerup (speed, weappons,repair,shields,bombs etc) u'll make a HIT on home! i know u are at the cutting edge juggy so....LET'S DANCE!

thanks for making it so we can start a game without need anyone, makes testing out stuff easer. can there be a bot mode as well?

Jugbot, I am saddened to see the sparkle trail following the nyan hoverdisk is owner only. The rainbow trail shows for others but not the sparkly way it does for owners. Is there any way to have EVERYONE see the effects? I keep seeing new items, actives and locomotions with this type of issue & I am wondering if its Homes limitations in play or an unwanted sideeffect you guys missed in production?

silverthehedgeh - survival mode vs. bots? 2 player co-op vs. bots? that'd be fun...

 

smokingpistol - right there with you - displaying particles only for the person using the item is a current limitation of locomotion items. If we have the ability in the future to display them to other players, we'd definitely retrofit that to all the current discs! The rainbow is actually a part of the board model itself, which allows it to be seen by everyone.

Yep. i noticed that on day one, and even the feel of it didn't seem like it was travelling 50% faster. I wonder if it was just miscommunication or if something went bad at the last moment.

Hi everyone,

 

The Hoverdiscs increase your speed by 50% to a speed of 150% (100% (i.e. normal speed) + the 50% increase = 150%). This is the max speed permitted at this time for all locomotion items. Hope that clears everything up!

You should have added the Gorge Jettson car sound to the Hoverdisc.

Would have made it feel faster.

I LOVE NYAN CAT, BUT I DONT WANT TO RIDE A HOVERCRAFT JUST TO GET THE RAINBOWS, NYAN CAT DIDNT RIDE A HOVER CRAFT, WOULD BE EVEN BETTER IF IT WAS A POPTART xD
