There is a new Japan Halloween Event coming this Friday in the early morning. The event will be in Japan's Home Square. Event times are as follows:

Times for this weekend

Pacific Showtimes

11/2 Friday
4AM, 6AM, 7PM, 11PM

11/3 Saturday
3AM, 5AM, 8PM

11/4 Sunday
12AM, 4AM, 6AM

Eastern Showtimes

11/2 Friday
7AM, 9AM, 10PM

11/3 Saturday
2AM, 6AM, 8AM, 11PM

11/4 Sunday
3AM, 7AM, 9AM

please be aware that daylight's savings ends on sunday in the USA and Canada. So I'm not sure I got the times on that date right....

UK Showtimes

11/2 Friday
12PM, 2PM

11/3 Saturday
3AM, 7AM, 11AM, 1PM

11/4 Sunday
4AM, 8AM, 12PM, 2PM

NOTE: no pumpkin or ghost was listed in the new times

Please doublecheck the times yourself. It's easy for me to make a mistake and I wouldn't want anyone to miss it.

Please note that there is an extensive 12 minute long preview in Japan Home Square right now. You need to download that and watch that before you can see the event. So I recomment you doing that either today or tomorrow. It's a long long download too.

When the actual event starts, it starts with a slideshow. Then the Ghost and Pumpkin will appear after a magic spell is cast. The Ghost and pumpkin will take turns on stage. But only one will give a treat. The other gives a trick (nada). I've listed the character you need to appease above. When the right guy appears, DANCE, MOVE (around), POSE when you see the words DANCE, MOVE, POSE on the screen. Don't worry, that part is in english! If enough people appease the right guy, you all get the treat. The Pumpkin gives glowing fox ears. The Ghost gives a glowing fox tail.

If the wrong guy wins, you get nada.

There is also a temporary prize at the end. If you choose the right guy, you get a magic head for a few minutes. If you perform the event 100% right, you get wings for a few minutes.

From the poster that translates roughly to....

total community spirit (or soul) score rewards are:

LOW reward at 1,350,000 spirit points is a portable item. Looks like a ghost thingie. A "Keenihhe Clone". Translates as something like Kenny Clone or Koenig Clone.

MID reward at 1,700,000 spirit pts = Unfaithful follower of the King Stone Statue. That's the closest I can translate that to.

HIGH reward at 2,000,000 spirit pts = Souless King of the Underworld Stone Statue

thanks Santa for the poster!

I don't think it'll be too bad.  It's not that easy to make a JP account

Do you know the details of the event like for example do you know if you are required to purchase a Halloween item from the store in order to participate in the event?

I highly doubt you need to buy anything in order to participate. This isn't NA Home we're talking about.

I might check it out if I remember to, also that Bone Reaper costume is pretty sweet. I haven't bought yen in a long time, I might consider it Smiley Tongue

certain purchased clothing will cause an effect around you. You might get bats, or magic spirit glows, rain, etc depending on the clothing. But other than that, it's basically a show. You just go and watch. And often, there's a small reward.

No purchase necessary. No Freemium that cripples you unless you pay pay pay.  No tickets, or tokens to buy. Just go and enjoy.
